ALSO something to note: They haven't shaved off the western portion of that high risk. The threat remains. Unbelievable given what we've already seen today.

so looking at that, did we actually have a bit of some CAD action going on?
While this is true as far as composite parameters, winds aloft through the surface are becoming unidirectional. Probably gonna be mostly a hail threat.
Edit: not to mention losing forcing and warm air aloft was modeled to start filtering in.
