I figured 18 thousand replies in the fall/winter thread was plenty. Plus, its meteorological spring! Do all your complaining about how hot it is, how cold it is, how there's no storms, how there's too many storms, all of it. Have at it.
Glad we had clouds and fog this morning only thing that kept us from hitting 150 today
Cool@SD sucks. That's all, thanks for letting me be the first post!
Looks like that was the first really hot dayExpecting quality content such as this to be regular in here
What'd y'all get to? 90F here, second 90 of the year at that pointLooks like that was the first really hot day

Interested to see how far we take the sub90s this year. All time KGSP record is 8/1 set in 1910, which is pretty absurd

6/1 if we are luckyInterested to see how far we take the sub90s this year. All time KGSP record is 8/1 set in 1910, which is pretty absurd
Yeah got lucky last year with 6/4 being the first 906/1 if we are lucky
smh the climobro gonna make me dig up GSP's data. 2011 is our record year with 88 days of 90+It does not look good this summer, RDU will break it record number of 90 degree days. Heres FAY, CAE, and RDU record 90 degree day number and my prediction.
RECORD PRED
RDU 91 (2010) 109
FAY 130 (1941) 139
CAE 116 (2010) 133
CLT 88 (1954) 99
Fayetteville is really high, Raleigh had 88 that year in 1941. Augusta has had 126 90 degree days before so FAYs record is possible.
The man is king of all weenies! He is not a regular cheap super marker weenie, this man is a prime cut off a cow, a dang sirloin cut weenie. Some high-quality stuff right there!Snow is over @NickyBGuarantee ,get on the warmth hype train
It'll be hard to break those unless we start piling up 90s in MayIt does not look good this summer, RDU will break it record number of 90 degree days. Heres FAY, CAE, and RDU record 90 degree day number and my prediction.

Fayetteville was piling them on in April and October in 1941. Id have to say 1941 is the longest summer ever, even for RDU, very warm April, warmest or second warmest october etc. Long summer! It'll be hard to break those unless we start piling up 90s in May
Somewhere you don't want to be! Pretty sure ! Thats where is dispersing and not rising!Trying to brush up on my tstorm lingo: what's a "sink zone"?
@SD house, where nothing grows, even with ofbsTrying to brush up on my tstorm lingo: what's a "sink zone"?
So is it like a real thing or is it just "it didn't rain here last week therefore it will never rain"@SD house, where nothing grows, even with ofbs

Bermuda Triangle destroyerIt's actually insane how close we've come back to that weenie CMC run from several days ago w/ our northern stream s/w diving into IL/WI, with only very minor differences at 500mb.
We put all the pieces in about the right place, a little stronger upper low and less amped northern stream encourages better phasing/interactions, and that's the difference between cold & dry vs snowstorm in eastern NC.
