Pattern Muddy March 2021

Since severe weather is right around the corner... has anyone noticed that northeast ga and upstate sc has been prone to very sever weather and tornadoes the past couple of years. Are we becoming the new tornado alley?

Indeed, the 0Z Euro is also warmer. I promise the readers that @Myfrotho704_ and I are not in cahoots as we're on opposite sides of the spectrum as far as what we want. We're just reporting the model facts by being professional messengers. We tell it like it is. Of course, the models may be off. We make no claim as to the accuracy of any model. I, of course, hope they're very wrong. However, I fear they may be right this time.

I got a bad feeling about this.

No seriously, I do. We are in the middle of a pandemic and entering severe weather season. While I enjoy tossing around “death” flippantly come October/Halloween, I’m going to have to take the side of those uncomfortable with this name given the season.

It might seem silly. Maybe it is silly. But some people are superstitious and/or offended by this. I’m not into the PC/cancel thing, but I think this go around, the right thing to do is change the name.
