After getting lots of snow, del rio might be the hotbed of supercells soon, it’s normally around this time of the year when they get big supercells down there

ECMWF Sets up a pretty classic wintertime version of the “ring of Fire” along the edge of the ridge, several impulses aloft generating rain/elevated thunderstorms and surface based thunderstorms in the warm sector, this euro run was much warmer so hopefully we push it north a bit, that’s a whole lot of rain

The positive is, a torch now isn’t bad compared to a torch in May
EPS so far is basically spring lol
EPS shows that big ol firehose, better hope the ridge axis flexes more, it’s also a legit torch, highs in the 60s/70s during the day and lows in the 60s/mid/upper 50s 
oth the EPS also warmed up significantly around the D8-10 range and is starting to show another SER, La Niña might finally be doing its thing

No seriously, I do. We are in the middle of a pandemic and entering severe weather season. While I enjoy tossing around “death” flippantly come October/Halloween, I’m going to have to take the side of those uncomfortable with this name given the season.
It might seem silly. Maybe it is silly. But some people are superstitious and/or offended by this. I’m not into the PC/cancel thing, but I think this go around, the right thing to do is change the name.

Reading it from some best severe weather experts on other forums . With us coming out first year La Niña other factors are starting to come into alignment also

Last two runs of the GFS shows basically the entire state of SC staying above freezing the entire time. Is spring here to stay?
