I lost my interest in severe weather April 27th, 2011. F*ck tornadoes, man.I bet I’m the only one here who doesn’t give a crap about severe weather and thunderstorms. Snow, Hurricanes, and planetary patterns are my game.

I find many aspects of wx interesting whether IMBY or not and some of which I find very interesting to track but don't want anywhere near me like hurricanes and tornadoes. In addition to what you listed, I like to follow among other things rainfall, temperatures/degree days, local dewpoints, general wind flow, dramatic frontal passages (I usually enjoy these as I love to see the dramatic change to a new airmass), SSTs, local tide levels, local seabreezes, and climate change (including the causes). I love studying GA and nearby wx history, including historical stats.
How about klqk pleaseWhat could go wrong??

I honestly don't know what to think about our upcoming winter weather chances for January. I agree with you that the current and near term forecast sucks; cold rain and lots of it. If I'm correct, a la nina is suppose to be dry (and above normal temps) during winter. Even if this next system provides us something wintery, it'll be a mess of mixed types with marginal temps. I'm really hoping to see a true arctic air mass (it's been some time). Snow is still number one for me, but a cold spell where the ponds freeze over would be a close second. Maybe we can turn things around the next week or so. Webber stated that we may get a better feed of cold air into N. America soon.Worst January ever , I would take an active up and down month like January 2014 than a crap fest like what we are getting now where it’s constant at home and jerk it all day weather. I didn’t sign up for this oceanic garbage .
You've been spoiled recently. This certainly reminds me of winters growing up and even as I went to college where it's cool/damp and a day or 2 in the 60s/70s were a treat and not the ruleWorst January ever , I would take an active up and down month like January 2014 than a crap fest like what we are getting now where it’s constant at home and jerk it all day weather.
