Just got a light bit of snow on my porch but it looks like the flurries are gonna keep on coming across me for the nxt 1-2 hours

We got about 10 minutes or so of rain/snow mix. At least I saw some flakes on Christmas eve. Congrats to all of you who got much more.

Temperature went down 6 degrees in 15 minutes on James Island. 51 now. Going down quick

I think that’s it for the precip here and nary a flake. Maybe tomorrow will be luckier.
Yup, it's over here it seems. Let's hope for a Christmas miracle tomorrow.

had some flurries here in the upstate !!!!
I don’t really see the model losing it I still see bands of flurries on pivotal and I think models have a hard time with resolution as we’re seeing tonight ... I have high hopes in flurries tomorrow which is what we should all hope to be the max of what we get .. seeing a flake would be fun enough on Christmas .. keep the bar low so u have more to be excited about when all is said and done
Dang whoever is under that slow mover is lucky ! 
Hrrr is really ramping the bands of snow up in SC on runs something to watch.

Finally a decent snow shower. I watched it coming down off Signal Mt... official now, snow on Christmas. The wind whipped it up pretty good for 10 minutes or so.. got the car top white again, lol
Edit: totally wasn't on any radar returns either.. just happened to stare out the window at the right moment..

dats the one I watched roll off Signal Mt... 15 minutes ago.. it was beautiful. I saw the lights disappear up top then whoosh, it plowed down into Red Bank.. Kinda neat.
No sub-40F Christmas high for RDU. Hate to see it.

Hrrr has also been trending to more snow towards the triad
Wow some areas in SC could see a burst of heavy snow with possible inch or more.
Ended up with a 1/4". Only the 3rd measuable I have observed on 12/25 (last ones being 1989 and 2010). Sure beats the 67 degree weather we had last Christmas!

While there’s maybe a outside chance, that’s quite unlikely, Keep expectations low

About 10 miles north of my house got about a half an inch we got a trace here
2 different setups, tomorrow’s is a upper level low, tonights was cold chasing moisture, you should know that never works out East of the mountains and especially for areas further south
