That's a nice first round of snow around here. Funny that Glenn burns even says there's flakes coming but is sticking to the usual no accumulations. We'll see.

That first wave is trying its best to keep things suppressed. It's moving into a great position over SE Canada, and the trends w/ it are good to improve even more in future runs.
Doesn’t cut, but precip dies.

It got strung out on the vort map.
Lots of blocking up top, if stuff does cut it wouldn’t cut much but WAA would be a issue, and yeah GFS has the upper level trough move out away from us to fast to stay cold, that sounds like a issue it would typically have, but anyways I’m more interested in wave 1 and quite honestly not as much for 2, and I’m speaking for folks outside of NC as well

Honestly, if we get the northern stream wave to remain over the Great lakes, this could be much more.

Looks good especially if it continues the same way on the nxt frame. Could possibly see snow flurries deep into GA and AL.
Wow the wraparound on the GEFS is digging into southern AL/GA on a few members!

The next frame has great looks as well. Member 8 looks like a bomb.
If we’re being honest, that second wave wasn’t even that squashed. Vort map didn’t look terrible to me by any means.

I think that would make everyone’s winter in GA, AL, and TN. It seems like the GEFS keeps on increasing the amount of members each time that dig into GA and AL. That could benefit SC and NC later on.
