Yea 3-5in has been the safe bet for awhile and that’s what TWC has been showing.Looks like there are not quite going with the higher totals of the Euro. 3-4 inches with some spots at 5-6 along I-85.
@NoSnowATL NAM jackpot zone!18z 3km NAM shifting the rainfall a little north. Widespread 4-6 inch totals in north Georgia with locally higher amounts.View attachment 48682
Thats a monster line of storms on the 3kBy the looks of the nam, I may chase in SC
Worth noting to that the NAMs have ticked north a bit with that boundary, it’s getting close to CLT
Same I feel like CLT is far enough NW that severe won't be that much of an issue at all compared to the flooding.Well regardless of us getting some nasty storms, we can pretty much guarantee that Charlotte will have some significant flooding issues. Especially being that close to the boundary.

Agreed. Though it wouldn’t shock me to see a rouge severe storm or 2 making their way somewhere in the area. But flooding yes. If I lived on a river bank, I’d be investing in some sandbags, at the very least. And a really messing Friday commute!
