Not surprising given this was the first rally of the season, it got humongous press coverage, and Fox News was the only one carrying the speech itself as Communist News Network and MSNBCommunism weren’t. Also, many of the people watching it were likely not Trump fans. Many watching were hoping to see him look bad or were hoping for violence or some other nonsense in the area. Don’t equate viewers as Trump fans for all of these reasons. Not at all the same as attending the rally. I watched the speech but wouldn’t ever consider attending even if in my hometown since I’m not at all a Trump fan. I watched for entertainment to temporarily take my mind off COVID, bedbugs, and other crap. Actually, it satisfies me entertainmentwise like pro wrestling does because he’s so full of it. He really is an entertainer. I don’t recall any other politicians speeches being pure entertainment like this though Reagan was quite funny at times.
He did make a fool of himself.

I think all of this stuff is just stupid. I am not a minority, and I will never know the struggle that some in the minority community have faced or do face. But those things - those struggles - are real. The stuff about the Confederate flag and statues and branding is not real. It's a manufactured problem. Statues aren't racist. Statues don't make people racist. Statues don't sit where they sit because of some racist purpose. They simply memorialize a time or event in history. Good or bad, history is history, and there's not a thing wrong with being reminded of it.

People need to quit letting academics and others with an agenda tell them how they should feel about things and get back to using some common sense and having some perspective. Everything that you don't like or agree with is not an offense. It's time we start recognizing this and focusing our energy and efforts around working through real, actual issues and problems, together.
The biggest thing I really don’t agree with is the removal of paintings of past house speakers from the capital who went to the confederacy after secession. That is a museum and it represents our history and removing those paintings is removing history. I won’t get into the issue confederate battle flag that stirs up to much trouble ?

Your Tulsa rally attendance says otherwise.

Yeah not sure folks on the right really understand how huge the Dem turnout is going to be....it may rival Obama 2008....Trump is losing voters I dont know a single person that did not vote for him in 2016 that plans to do so in 2020.....I however know a dozen people that did vote for him in 2016 who dont plan to do it again in 2020.

So what if only 6200 people came to Trumps rally. It only matters how many people actually watched. 7.7 million people. That’s a lot of eyes. Biden could never do that

Must have been a lot of Tik Tok teens watching trying to beef the numbers up ?

1. The eyes were far from all friendly ones. It is wise to watch one's adversary to see what he's up to. Now in the world of entertainment, every eye is important. And Trump is an entertainer no doubt.
2. To Trump, attendance matters bigly and that's all that really matters.

Edited to say “adversary” instead of “enemy” as “enemy” is way too harsh when referring to the President. I actually didn’t mean he is literally the enemy even though I said it. Very poor word choice on my part. I apologize to anyone who may have been offended.

But isn’t it just possible that COVID-19 concerns. Caused most people to just watch the rally from home?

Nah, many MAGAs think COVID is just a flu and no big deal. No flu is going to stop them from attending.
Every single trumpet I know, and I know a few, believes it's a hoax. Nope he threw a party for himself and got a big snap shot of what's to come. He is done.

Damn right! All we need is beer, boobs and bread!

Landslide!

its hard to unseat any sitting president. Esp a white man with money. this election, like the last, will be a landslide surprise in Trump's favor.

Further proof Americans attentions spans are super short and stuff happening in June isn’t a huge deal for November when you have a wild candidate like Trump and another raving dementia like Biden

Had we not had the recent riots, anarchy, and calls for defunding the police, I would have strongly agreed that Biden would win. However, now because of the aforementioned I think there's more uncertainty. And I'm not saying this as a Trump fan since I'm not.

Bidens gonna get 65ish million votes maybe even push 66-69 million( if that happens he wins big IMO ).....Trump will lose the popular vote by no less than 2-3 million votes, Trump probably wont beat his numbers from 2016 at just under 63 million.....the real question though is can Trump squeeze by in the EC.....I think he could but its a tough out IMO.

The two states I think Trump could take is Michigan and Minnesota. And he must somehow keep Florida and North Carolina. Do that Trump wins

Economy coming back, safety, middle east is more stable than previous administration, EVERYBODY has opportunity and he is facing a career politician who's mind is clearly fading. Biden really has nothing going for him other than his base and a few emotional basket cases. When Trump starts ratcheting up the attacks and the debates roll around its gonna be a bloodbath

If I had to take a guess. This is what I’d say the map looks like the night of the election.

Not bad but I would put Florida in the leans right category, every one of its elections are down to slim margins . Pennsylvania maybe likely dem not safe , Texas I would also put likely but not safe red.

I haven't heard about this either and I'm in S GA (while it still is in GA). So, I guess I'm going to have to change my username unless the new state name is S GA.
Eventually Atlanta is going to control the state politics just like Chicago controls Illinois right now.
