That doesn’t make it any less pathetic. I think the montra behind the event is what was so strikingly polarizing to the freedom embracing events that Donald Trump puts on. Here’s an excerpt ?

‘About 20 handpicked local officials, small-business owners and reporters sat in folding chairs, each placed within a large white circle taped on the floor of a recreation center to maintain — or at least encourage — social distancing. A few attendees whispered to each other as photographers quietly chatted. You could hear the clack of typing echoing across the room. The silence was striking.

Nearly everyone wore masks. Before entering, a Biden campaign worker took our temperatures and asked if we had shown any symptoms of Covid-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus.

“We are going to get started in just a minute,” a staff member announced. “Today’s event has been set up to adhere to social distancing guidelines.”
 
Trumps a showman. Those rallies arent about the USA. They're about him and how he can get the crowd to cheer for him. What does a glass of water have to do with his horrible covid response? What does his walk down a ramp have to do with calming the racial division?

He doesn't care about any of that. He wants people to cheer him. Him alone. You see it in his testing gaffe. He starts by saying "we have done a good job" but he changes it to "I"..........its pathological and people like him have no business making policy. He will make policy based on how many high fives his followers will give versus it being a sound policy.

The man doesnt need to be president.

It’s odd you find the paragraph above pathetic. They’re doing what they should be doing. Even trump supporters aren’t ready for a rally! Hence the low turn out of less than 7k. Sad.

The funny thing is the false ticket sign ups are going to mess up their mailing/donor lists as well. They may have to throw a lot out.

That's a really offensive word. I know you're directing it at a really bad individual but that would be like calling a black person who murdered somebody the N word. Those names generalize a group not a person.

We are talking about different things buddy. I’m talking about Atlanta in the present day. And yes I stand by my statement because I’ve seen it and still see it.

It had everything to do with the over estimation of interest in attending the rally (such as 1 million people) and therefore preparing for a 40,000 person overflow lot. The campaign therefore had bad data now they’re attempting to minimize it, when it’s as simple as their base wasn’t ready for a in person large close contact rally.

Do I think the tiktok interference kept people from coming? No. It’s obvious it was Covid fears and not protests. Are the Covid fears the media’s fault? no, it’s alive and well. Look at how bad Italy was and what it looks like now, the curve is flat!

Trump supporters realize going to a indoor rally with 19k people, the majority of which are without masks, is a bad idea. I was actually impressed and it gives me hope that trump supporters aren’t as blind to science as it appears. Let’s hope so.

Indeed. See the movie "Crash", which illustrates how people complaining about bigotry are often bigots in a different way often not realizing it but still making them hypocrites in addition to being bigots. We're all susceptible to this. Be careful.
 
Maybe Trump should do outdoor rallies bet crowd would be larger

I need to vote early absentee and focus on getting counties that lean dem and offer rides for them to vote for trump maybe free Bojangles sandwich they do that in Wilkes at the poll sites always bojangles breakfast free

Well if trump is so awesome and such a successful leader then he should just be able to rent out a 30 minute primetime slot and go over his accomplishments. According To yall it should be a mic drop since he is so awesome.

Instead he will have rallies for HIM to feel better about his small hands.

Hey maybe that's why he had to use 2 hands to drink the other day?

There never has been more of a stark contrast in an election. You have law and order and pro America versus lawlessness and tearing down anything that resembles history up to the point of destroying the flag and national anthem.
 
I'm still just kind of amazed at how many are making a deal about Trump not packing the rally and the group getting those tickets. By everyone making a big deal about this, they are playing to his narrative and basically daring his supporters to actually completely pack his next one. I figured the people who hate him will make several big mistakes and re-elect him and by golly it's happening.



Is common sense this far gone?
