Yeah there's a few that really boil their blood; Candace Owens, Larry Elder, Dave Rubin, Rob Smith, and Ben Shapiro to name a few. I guess since all of them represent a minority the left can't fathom they are able to think outside of their box.

Candace Owens is a disgusting political hack. I’ve never heard of any of those other names. I do know some on the right like to prop her up as a token black.

Apparently both of the ATL police officers involved in the Brooks incident are about to be arrested and charged with murder tomorrow. Not sure this was said in here already, so if it has been, sorry.

I don't like jury duty but in this case I'd make an exception. I would LOVE to be seated on the jury for this trial. I don't believe either of this officers are guilty here. Of course I wouldn't be allowed though, because I saw that good AJC video summarizing what happened. I was already leaning towards justified before I saw it, and I have a very hard time finding where either will be found guilty, especially the one that didn't fire a weapon.

Something that really shouldn't have surprised me in that footage is the way that Brooks turned in the footage, but it did. It went from calm to chaos. That's like how my dad, one of the times that he got drunk, went from being stone cold asleep then out of it initially when he was awoken, to screaming about how the Democrats are failing on the position they've taken on COVID-19 a couple months ago.

Should note, as I've alluded to, he's not Republican. I suppose he's your typical late middle-aged moderate Democrat. I thought he was harder left leaning (and just hides it mostly when being friendly in the south) but as he's come out against some of what the progressive faction of the Democratic party wants this year, he's shown he's not.

Maybe there’s more evidence that will come to light, but I don’t see how they get a murder conviction based on what I’ve seen so far. And when/if he is found not guilty, it’s could be another powder keg..
 

I don’t understand why people should be allowed to be voted in for 17 terms to begin with, but why in the world would these people continue to vote for her if she has done nothing to improve their community. SF has had massive issues with homelessness for a long time now. How has another Democrat not primaried her at this point to try and take her seat?!?

Yup i was in San Francisco in July 2 years ago

Weather was stunning for mid summer as were most of the tourist areas but the city had massive areas where It was a complete nightmare unlike I've seen anywhere else

She is a prime example of why Congress needs term limits

Okay this made me bust out laughing sounds like a good way to not have a return ticket

Spurious argument. Strong defined how exactly? Scientific and technological breakthroughs occur in spite of 'conquering' civilizations, and the geo-politics of war. Nothing wrong or absurd about apologizing for war crimes. There is nothing weak about discussing certain strains of depravity and criminality in America's takeover of the continent in the 19th century. We are not in some fictional utopian "Here' just because we decimated the native American population with Manifest Destiny. We could easily be "Here" without that.

This is literally what I have been saying we’re dealing with the aftershocks of systemic racism. It can take years and decades for communities to pull themselves out of poverty and this is usually done by an influx of business. I believe that the best way to fix the income gap and end what is left of systemic racism is to give to organizations that help lower income and minorities start businesses with loans, grants, and courses. I also think giving donations to organizations that give grants to low income and minority communities for higher education is another important step in helping to pull these communities up and end the last remnants of systemic racism and help to close the income gap.

I mean come on the list is endless...The ethnic cleansing of native land is not unique to “white people”. It happened all across this little blue spec for thousands of years. Would it have been great if the world could have just gotten along in the past? Sure it would. European colonialism is not unique in their methods of takeover. Why don’t we just have one big World apology tour and get this guilt over with so we can all move on and put a man on Mars.

Even CNN is saying the guy pointed the teaser at the officer. I'm like you, unless something big comes out I don't see how in the world the officers aren't aquited and then sues the city. However if you want to see a change in the number of cops out there, have a jury convict the officers without any other circumstances than what is on video. I don't know who would want to be a cop knowing you can't defend yourself when someone points your own taser at you.

got into an argument at work about it tonight... some people I just can't deal with

also argued over what "defund the police" means.... that one was fun too

I guess at least it wasnt another argument over Coronavirus I was beyond done with those

Cut it out guys. My friend just graduated trooper school given a new car and decent salary. He did few months at community college and few months in Raleigh training. Trooper school is further shortened when you go to community college first for BLT. Even he said it’s way to short for what the job requires and what he gets for it. Blows most other degrees out of the water with no debt and short time frame.
