I agree Obama did things to try and consolidate power in the executive branch and DOJ, I was 100% against it then.....Trump is way way worse.....I mean WAAAAYYYYYY worse.....so much so I and many other conservative are considering voting for someone like Biden to protect the office of president from Trump.

What about the pic of Obama riding the bike? Hannity (who I wish would retire) and other far right hacks were making a big deal about that, too. But criticizing Trump because he's a low class jerk who treats many who aren't lockstep in agreement with him on everything like crap and who treated the recently deceased McCain and that handicapped reporter with so much disrespect is not a big deal.
 
It doesn’t take a genius to put a timeline together and see what’s going on in this country. First, the Democrats start attacking the constitution by going after the second amendment. That’s the first attempt to unarm law abiding citizens. The next stunt they are going for is defunding the police so then no one is protected either by law enforcement or by arms they bear. Anyone that votes for that type of agenda might be missing a few marbles or at least drunk on the kool aid.

You're not being honest. Thats one incident do you see Trump supporters rioting in the streets tearing down infrastructure and ruining people's businesses? Even the lock down protests didn't result in loss of property.

So if Dems win both houses and Biden signs whatever Polosi puts on his desk, it will be alright by your conservative values? Or if Biden follows Obama’s and Trump’s lead and grabs even more power(which he will if he has a split congress). I personally don’t care if someone doesn’t vote for Trump for whatever reasons, as I’m not voting for him myself. That said I sure as heck are not going to have my name anywhere near Biden just because I don’t like Trump.

We are gonna rue the day when trumps ridiculous precedents are reversed. When the dems get control and they declare gun violence a national emergency and commandeer funds from homeland security to give to the cdc for research.

We are gonna rue the day when a democrat has done something worthy of impeachment and he/she declares immunity and all the democrats in the senate literally say all the evidence proves guilt but so what we arent doing anything about it.

We are gonna rue the day poor healthcare a national emergency and go straight to single payer.

All of which will follow the precedent being set now.

I'd actually be for stricter gun control and not owning a gun but if you're going to have stricter gun control and not look to learn how to operate a gun, the "defund the police" idea that has begun going around is completely dumb even if it "isn't what it means" (what we have going on in reddit). Imagine calling 911 because someone is trying to break into your home and you're told "sorry, because of budget cuts for the police it's going to take longer for someone to get there to help you".

I mean, just look at this take right here (not mine)...

We actually do not need police, all of their roles can be filled more effectively by other types of professionals like social workers or millitary.

If the case was proved why would you need more witnesses? The case is supposed to be tried in the house and that’s where the witnesses were. The senate votes on conviction. I’ve never heard a prosecution that’s proven a case and needed to call more witnesses. That’s plain ignorant.

You do not want military permanently taking over domestic policing. It leads to bad things. The military is trained to break things and kill people.

Thats just it though, I dont think Biden is going to try and grab more executive branch power....if the Dems win both houses of Congress and the WH the blame will be squarely on the GOP for putting Trump in office and galvanizing the Dems like nothing seen before. We will survive 4 yrs of Biden just like we have survived Obama and so far Trump.

I still probably wont vote for Biden, but Trump's antics are certainly leaving that option on the table....

That photo is incredibly misleading and not true at all. The pandemic started in China (and this is nothing compared to the Spanish flu), the shutdown that caused the unemployment was to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 and the riots are not because of anything Trump did but due to the murder of George Floyd by a rogue cop.

Biden will do whatever he is pushed to do by his party, that I have no doubt whatsoever. He will have to try to wrangle the rapidly growing socialist side. We also know he sure didn’t come out against Obama’s power grab in the past few years. I’m sure we will survive Biden, even though the downward spiral will continue. That said I will be able to honestly tell my kids that I had no part in it.
 
Biden is just a puppet/vessel at this point. That’s why they wanted Bernie out, bc he wouldn’t want to just be a puppet for the DNC agenda. Biden probably doesn’t actually believe in half the things they make him say anymore.

TBH I think the democrats are going to put the person they want as president at the VP position. That way people can vote for more of a moderate like Biden and then at some point he steps down and a much more left/extreme person takes over. I think Biden/Kamala could be what they go with but we will see.

I'm going to be voting for 4 more years of Trump this fall. Trump has a chance to really continue reshaping the judicial system which is extremely important to me as a conservative. Also there is a chance RBG retires and possibly someone else on the SC so having Trump in there to pick another conservative or two should those vacancies arise is quite important as well. The fight against China is real and I don't see Biden standing up to them and we are WAY too dependent on them, especially for important things like health supplies and such. There are many other policies of Trump's that I support as well but these are some of the higher profile ones I support. Those who hate Trump, get over it because that's who I am voting for this fall.

Val Demings because she has less baggage. Remember Kamala has a lot of heat based on her career as a prosecutor.

Plus Demmings is from Florida and may help switch that state back blue.

Maybe it would be best for the flow on this topic if you would provide a link. Biden is going to have to continue to talk about this in a strong and sincere manner...like he really means it...for me to consider voting for him as opposed to a 3rd party or write-in. I don't want to have anything to do with someone at all associating with anarchy.
