Misc Stock Market

If you had Dave and Busters you’d be a very happy person stock was at $5 the 19th closed at $16.45 today. MGM almost the same way $6 the 19th closed at $12.97 today. Nice ROI for the both of em and a lot of other entertainment stocks today those two just stuck out the most to me.

They are all going to be open by Easter with 6 Trillion to play with :rolleyes: I'm sensing something amiss.

But yeah somebody pulled in some nice gains from those unless they bought D&B for $45 last month.

Don't mean to sound snarky. Just crazy in the market right now.
 
What should I buy in the morning: Smile Direct Club or BLMN (Outback Steakhouse stock)

Probably depends on the bank, I'm with a state employees credit union not one of the others you can link with instantly. It just took 2 days for their verification deposit to clear because of that

That's odd I use SECU and I was funded and ready to go in just a few minutes....in fact this was yesterday and I put in a few hundred and bought a few stocks and they still haven't taken from my bank.

Maybe I paved the way for you haha. IDK all I know is it took probably less than 48 hours for those to bank verification deposits they send to come through.
 
So looks like the stimulus will be a one-time payment of $1,200 per adult and $500 per child and scaled back based on income over 75k for singles and 150k for couples. For a family of 4 this could be up to $3,400 assuming nothing changes.

It sure will be, for a while, but I'm not sold on another strong day.... again I'm just a novice but I feel like it will start off hot with the news of financial help otw but then the realization that those funds won't be here for a while will help level it off. Also the Feds have thrown everything but the kitchen sink at the economy and it (for the most part) hasn't responded. Here's hoping for a day 2 rally.... God speed market riders!
 
I'm thinking we could see a major dip on Thursday with unemployment reports, but the worst of the dips in the market overall may be over. Probably slower declination until the virus gets under wraps, then we go back up.
 
So my two holdings right now are CHEF and MFA. MFA is interesting due to it trading in the $7-8 range with healthy financials prior to the crash, they pay a big dividend and are starting to bounce back nicely. A bit risky but we will see how it plays out.
 
Gas is $1.25 in Iredell, NC. Are we still looking for lower prices in the future or is it about to go UP

It’s going ham today . Funny thing is the CEO said yesterday it would take years to fix the balance sheet after the 737 max fiasco. But the said yesterday they were going to start making them again so that’s good news

Yeah. I’m holding. They say it can split sometimes but it’s worth a hold imo. Let’s see what she can do. I’m struggling to pull the trigger today. I bought into BLMN the other day and sold for quick profit but it shot up to $9 this morning so I’m a little sick still

Thank you. Yeah I knew it had potential with rising Gold prices. So I took a stab at it. Went ahead and bought another 1,000 shares of CPE. Brought my average up a little bit I’m ok with it. Too much potential here to let a couple pennies worry me

I bought it back at 4.50. Rode it down, back up then sold it. I've been looking at NGL to maybe compliment some CPE plays soon.

If today is green it's the 1st two consecutive green days since 2/12.
 
Man I'd love to know what exactly they're going to do with the airline industry. If I were comfortable that we weren't going to see something like the government take equity, I would need to do a bit of DCA'ing with Delta.
