One caveat , Im seeing milky blue sky coming from the nw of GSO as dewpoints continue to drop. Some folks might still an hour or 2 radiational cooling at sunset onward. Want be max effect.

Nam continues to amp it up more and shows more of a Low pressure around the GC, make it stop
Still looks really good for northern half on NC, juiced up too.... I don't think NAM backing down on amounts
Next frames look ok, bout as far north as it gets then it starts crashing south...That transition zone keep creeping N.
Could the NAM just be too hyped up on things?

I have about 20 feet of real estate left on that nam frame to avoid mixing , until it crashes. High risk,but high reward if its done.

Looks like about the norm for snow storms here in NC. Always seems to be a transition zone around I-85.Of course, being just N of that transition zone can be a blessing. All-in-all, the NAM is remaining steady.
Most globals were more suppressed and then the nam keeps coming in more amped. These nam runs are killing me and taking a good hit away. In past storms theybwill typically go with a blend on low track.
Might have been a tick better than 12z
That transition line in upstate SC is likely to run about 15 miles North of I85. If you below that, well look for sleet and rain. Above that line you see up to 2" of snow

The northward tick for the mixing can be a concern, but if it doesn't last long it won't matter.
this is 4pm rain now line just barely into the upstate. so unless the nam is wrong and its probably not. i look to see 3-4hrs of snow and thats about it dusting to 2 inches but closer to sc nc border 2-4 inchesOf course, being just N of that transition zone can be a blessing. One thing seems certain, once the warm nose stops moving northward, temps crash hard and drives it back south real quick.... still time for those that mix to change back over to a decent thump on top of some sleet

NAM keeping the snow going a tad longer over the NW Piedmont than before. Nice little tail/deform band of some kind.
It’s gonna be around abbeville/greenwood this go around. Below I-85
NAM is still showing backside snow showers in North GA.
