I was basically in the same situation. It was ripping all morning but 35 degrees. I did have some mixing problems for the first hour as well though.

At 12:15 I had 1.25” 3miles NW of Liberty,SC I will measure again in 15mins
5.5 inches here and down to pixie dust. Think that may be the end of it. Wow, just wow!

Yeah, it can happen. If my memory serves me correctly, I believe the winter of '88-'89 was warm. Luckily, we ended up with a pretty good storm in the latter part of the winter (last week of February) with about 5" of snow.

Flurries turning to light snow in Indian Trail, NC
Just scooped up a cup of dirt and put it in the freezer. Should help me tell that snow is reaching the ground since it will stick on that frozen dirt immediately.

All over here, measured exactly 4 inches
You can hear it in the local Mets voices here. They busted and they know it. But they won’t admit it and they know they were a smidggge away from an epic bust and major major travel problems here.
Radar looks much better. Lots of snow reports in CLT.
Im glad so many are getting in on this, particularly Chattanooga and the eastern burbs who have missed for so many years. Maybe the northern midlands can get in on the action.

Light snow is beginning to fall here in NE Charlotte near UNCC’s campus
I can confirm I’m near UNC charlotte campus and I’m seeing the DANDRUFF LIKE FLAKES ... I LOVE IT
I’ll tell u what RadarScope is great and so accurate ..i use the airport radar for Charlotte when storms or snow gets near and it’s so accurate with its placement of where snow is actually falling and when that arrives

Wow! 4 inches. Some of the biggest flakes I can remember. And it was gorgeous to watch!
Roads were slick (especially side streets) when I was out a couple of hours ago. It’s already starting to melt a bit.

The south side of Charlotte is most likely to see accumulation if anyone does in that area. A dusting would certainly be a win here

I spoke to my brother, and he said south metro Atlanta was totally different than the northern metro area. The folks in the northern metro, and, of course, northern Georgia really lucked out.
Wow, even here I’m starting to wonder if things can accumulate, nice banding setting up and Radar is filling in again
