1st thing my wife asked me when I got home was

Hey baby I hear we are having a ice storm next week.
Me: who said that?
Wife: people on Facebook.
Me: baby it’s Facebook
Wife: so is it true?
Me: it’s over a week out and it was one run. Tell your Facebook people to relax.
Word travels fast these days....I have had 3 people text me about this “ ice storm”. Going to start charging them for my awful forecasting guesses.

When is the next Euro run? I will go ahead a predict this ice storm turn into a rainstorm. Just my guess.

My completely unscientific guess is there is no storm next run. But if there is I'll be shocked if there a still a 1040+ high in the NE still. Shocked I tell you!

So let me see if I'm close here... take the model with the best upper air pattern, the model with the coldest temps and the model with the highest qpf, throw it all in the mixer and voila a blizzard?

What exactly does this mean?

it means well thought out, no hype, and easy to follow ... consumer friendly and worth something more than a "Like" ... so, Charlie gets 10 of these type posts a month (Webb only counts as 1; Larry only as 1, Ollie only as 1 ... etc.,) and suddenly you have a media event ... hell, I'm too tired to explain the obvious ...

No hype? Yeah I'm not following your post but I digress this is off topic

I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think that's a solid method, maybe?

Yep, that pretty much sums it up.

We can't even screw this one up.

What you want to see is that red blob in the NE Atlantic rotate into Greenland, keeping that green blob near the Lakes moving east instead of northeast, which will keep the blue blob over northern Mexico moving east instead of northeast. Boom, woof, womp, oof, gah, great googly moogly snowstorm.
