Nah, this series is over. We freaking suck so badly in the playoffs and now we're down most trustworthy relievers. Congrats on a sweep.
 
I was at the game, Cardinals look like the better team. I’m still wondering why Dallas Kuchal was taken out with only around 60 pitches, and I also do not understand how Luke Jackson is anywhere near a playoff roster.
 
How can pros make such bonehead baserunning mistakes? Sheesh Dodgers will find a way to lose, only runs scored on a walk and an error.

When you look at it this way, considering that Julio was a non option as a reliever outside of starting innings, your other relief choices since while you improved your pen, it was still shallow on legit performers that aren't relying on stuff like driveline instead of true good chops are:

6'7" Luke Jackson in Chad Sobotka, except worse.

Anthony Swarzak, and don't give it to me, this man might have been more heroic than Luke in the regular season but he sucks in reality. He was more lucky than good in his lockdown stretch.

Don't give it to me on Tomlin being an option either. He's only there to soak up blowout innings.

And guess what, he will continue to be an option because Martin is out. They will probably forget the idea of Fried starting and make him a reliever this postseason, because you can argue he'd be the 2nd best option in the pen. Melancon is likely out for tomorrow, so you have three options that you trust if you think Luke is complete and total trash, like most of the fanbase does.

Braves are deep in it. A sweep by the Cardinals wouldn't surprise me and in this case it'd legitimately be talent failing unlike other cases.

Keuchel being removed was not a bad move. He is not the ace of this staff or the ace he used to be. He sucks in the third time and against lefty mashers like Goldy.

Not trying to start a CC debate but isn’t it easier to break high temp and rain records? The earth in total is pretty warm and wet place beside the poles. More area to break records where it’s warmer and where people actually live. I would think the earth would really need to cool a lot to make more cold and snow records in total. Just a observation from a non met/ non scientific bum.
