That's member 23 and if I had access to surface winds, I might be able to tell if it's a true blizzard, but the gusts say it's close.

I know that whatever it was it was seen a good ways out than typical. 7 to 10 day if I am not mistaken. At least a hint of the storm maybe not the intensity it ended up being.

We won't get a blizzard. One ensemble member isn't likely to be the solution if it's the most extreme.
For the actual answer though I don't know and I'm not sure most have knowledge of that.

I remember seeing the news a week before hearing the possibility of a big storm. I'm pretty sure the models did pick it up well in advance.
