00Z UK is suppressed too. If the 00Z Euro comes in with another supressed run then I think this one is toast. Over a foot of snow to nothing for MBY. I should have listened to my gut on this one and not fallen for it . . . yet again.

I might just stay up for the 06z suite. ---- it ??

Well I stayed up for the 0z run of the gfs and went to bed at midnight. Then my 4yr old woke up at 2:30 and never went back to bed. I could have watched all the model suites lastnight. Now I have a 13hr shift ahead of me......yay

To me, and maybe I’m an anomaly, disappointment is part of the fun. If everything always worked out then everyone’s predictions would always be right and everyone would think they’re a weather god. Failure is part of the fun. It makes victory that much sweeter! But with that said, this one’s gone. Adios. Hasta Luego. Boomshakalaka. No doubt about it. ? ?
It would be nice if one time we could just not get disappointed.

Ok @LovesSnowHatesRidges you can give this a typical dislike now.

Yeah it ain't looking good. Still time for it to come back. But we are going to have to hope that the models are in a period right now where they are under modeling the strength of the southern stream energy. That happens, so it wouldn't surprise me for that to be the case. On the other hand, every time we've even had a remote chance of this setup this season, the southern stream has gone silent. So in that regard, I'm not sure we'll see changes for the better. The pattern has just been unfavorable in every way possible this winter.

What will probably happen is that things will continue to get more and more anemic until Sunday evening or Monday morning, when models will finally start making slight shifts west and north again with the precip shield, so that we'll be squinting to see if Cape Hatteras and Myrtle Beach can eek out a flurry or sprinkle.

Why do we torment ourselves with worrying about snow? We could be like everyone else and wait for the Tv Met to let us know it’s gonna snow. It would be a lot less disappointing then.
But by the time the TV Met tells us it's gon snow all the milk and bread will be gone

Moisture is improved tick north no doubt. But temps is the issue

You've said the same thing 40 different ways, if you've got nothing more to add to the storm specific thread then post it in this thread.

Well wouldn’t you agree temps are to warm on that run?

No doubt temps are marginal and could be an issue verbatim, but it's all you've stated since yesterday...... it's just not that simple. DP's, precip rates, timing all things that still need to be worked out. It just seems you're stuck on that one aspect

Just wait until April when we get a 1055H with a strong CAD down to Dothan AL.

And it still will be rain. It just doesn't want to snow in certain areas this winter. Congrats to the ones who managed to luck out somehow in this abysmal winter.
