Wintry Winter Storm Dec 7-10

If these solutions verify, dangit, we deserve a little action this year after Jan 2017. I'm tickled to death that areas south and west of us are getting some good action that rarely see it. Snow is magical, even more so in the Southeast regions that are less likely to see it.

Sorry for no FB live. Will have one tomorrow. Trends on models tonight look worse for us in central GA for snowflakes to fly. Possible yes, but really no big deal. Look towards I-20 for better chances. North and central AL might have a good chance like upstate and into NC. New map tomorrow.

Supposedly UK is a gfs CMC Mix. Lol i don’t know what to think of that
I took a look at the crappy maps. Some may not be happy, especially in the ATL area judging by crap 850mb temp maps.

Didn't realize this Swiss model that they use at weather.us has a grid spacing of less than 1km, which is over 9x the resolution of the 3km NAM and HRRR. Sucks the US can't make a model w/ this kind of resolution that goes out so far. Smh, we're the Cleveland Browns of weather NWP modelling

LMAO....damn that's horrible

I am torn on this event...cherokee is literally on the edge...however...precip usually always comes further north than anticipated such as how it did today when we were supposed to be dry all day and ended up with sleet for quite a while. Tomorrow and tomorrow night are gonna be damn interesting!
