I'm not exactly sure about this with various sources & modeling. I just know that composite maps show a lot of precipitation that sometimes, isn't even there (or hitting the ground).What about precip type? Even on the realistic map it shows us getting snow but the radar sim doesn't, one would think that would be a slushy mix?

South Central Texas is getting smashed attm and none of the short term models had a good grasp of that and certainly not the NAM...time for the dreaded NOWCAST!

Thanks, I can now too.... just realized my wifi went out for a minute while I was checking them. Like I said I don't always trust the SREF but there are some interesting trends for NC folks, gonna be so closeI was able to pull its up to 2.1 for RDU. CLT jumped up to 2.4. It double for my location as well.
