We are now under a winter weather advisory here in the panhandle of fla. Escambia, Santa Rosa, and okaloosa counties. Also some counties in Alabama are under some sort of civil defense warning because of roads completely impassable. Please be careful everybody.

Best storm in Marietta since Jan 2011. Nothing better than snow and Christmas lights and an event that has been a total surprise. If it snows all night like it’s forecast to do it may be best since March 93.

HRRR continues to Backbuild into Central Alabama on its runs and honestly keeps trending better and better. I couldn’t ask for anything else, but tonight may be fun as well! People in East Alabama will have a foot somewhere!
If the airport can get about 4.5", it would officially be near a top 20 katl storm.
My sis on northside atl thinks already 2-3"!

Also think ground temps theory can be pushed aside! Also don’t look at those maps on the models that take away the snowfall and only show and inch!
