Looks like an improvement to me
If the GFS looked like this, one can only imagine what the RGEM would have done.Oh yea, ought to see h5 almost going neg bombing. half step from just going haywire at 102
I just find it very difficult to trust a set up like this. Hope I’m wrong though
Yeah but with northern stream interaction and if you can get a bombing coastal, the column will crash with plenty of precip remaining... I'd take my chances.![]()
If RGEM is right this is a significant snowstorm for many, sfc reflection looks like it was about to explode with precip. However with this look sfc temps become an issue for most people initially.
Agreed, I'd roll the dice on that.Yeah but with northern stream interaction and if you can get a bombing coastal, the column will crash with plenty of precip remaining... I'd take my chances.
Its a much different evolution to be fair, should be taken into consideration. Although kind've ridiculous how much different it is compared to its 00z run.Regular Canadian has almost nothing
Something is wonky with its depiction. Looks good at 96 then at 102 goes poof. Don’t buy that at allRegular Canadian has almost nothing
12z CMC didn't have the northern stream wave as far southwest as the RGEM did either. It goes to show how this whole thing hinges on that northern wave being really strong but also remaining open for as long as possible to allow it to dive southward.Something is wonky with its depiction. Looks good at 96 then at 102 goes poof. Don’t buy that at all
Yes, but if UK and euro align more than gfs that tends to be the more believable outcome.UKMET is worse, but it’s not a great model anyways View attachment 113176
Problem is, the UK has been so bad the last several weeks that it hasn’t aligned with anything. LolYes, but if UK and euro align more than gfs that tends to be the more believable outcome.
How much?Ukmet crushes the upstate with the lee side trough enhancement when the backside trough swings down.
