Starting to see a lot a cracks in the dam.....
That’s essentially what the CIA does with its paramilitary operations.I wonder if America could get away with disguising US troops as civilians and sending them to Ukraine as volunteers.

To clarify this, the CIA regularly transfers military personnel under its command to skirt regulations and bureaucratic procedures regarding use of military force and personnel. The CIA isn’t held to the same regulations, which is why they can operate in foreign nations where use of military force is prohibited. Those servicemen would be fall under CIA command, thus keeping their participation from being viewed as military aggression. That’s essentially what the CIA does with its paramilitary operations.
Disagree with this. Putin has never been stronger due to the US and others buying their gas and etc. Plus the pandemic leaving everyone else weaker im really not understanding your post here budPutins gonna be fighting two wars real soon. The people in Russia should rise up because putin has never been weaker than he is right now domestically as the article @Downeastnc just showed.

Russian-born entrepreneur offers $1 million bounty for Putin's arrest
WASHINGTON (TND) — A $1 million bounty has been placed on Russian President Vladimir Putin by entrepreneur Alex Konanykhin after the invasion of Ukraine. Konanykhin posted the bounty on his social media accounts, including LinkedIn. I promise to pay $1,000,000 to the officer(s) who, complying...nbcmontana.com

It’s a loophole but the United States has gotten good at using it.
People who NEVER would have had the audacity to openly call putin out are doing so. People that should be afraid of him and they aren't anymore.Disagree with this. Putin has never been stronger due to the US and others buying their gas and etc. Plus the pandemic leaving everyone else weaker im really not understanding your post here bud
The Russian people are about to be set back decades. Their banks are running out of money, assets are being frozen, their web access to the outside world, shut off. Free speech is being limited, media has been taken over. It’s about to become a glorified North Korea once these sanctions choke the Russian society.Disagree with this. Putin has never been stronger due to the US and others buying their gas and etc. Plus the pandemic leaving everyone else weaker im really not understanding your post here bud
At the same time the US is targeting dark billionaires that actually hate Putin. I wonder why now if we knew they were shady before hand? Just repeating Reddit.People who NEVER would have had the audacity to openly call putin out are doing so. People that should be afraid of him and they aren't anymore.
Have you ever seen someone openly put a bounty out for Putins arrest?
Richer yes, stronger NO. He is a villain in every corner of the world not ruled by another dictator (ie China) among others. There is nowhere to go but down. He has become Sadam Hussein. An isolated desolate with no sense of reality or common decency to mankind. You can tell a dictator has run his course when he has to lie to his military in the manner he has with this occupationDisagree with this. Putin has never been stronger due to the US and others buying their gas and etc. Plus the pandemic leaving everyone else weaker im really not understanding your post here bud
Putin is surrounding their largest cities and will lay siege to them until they reach an "amicable" agreement. Russia will eventually help install a new government and they'll have access to Ukraine's resources in exchange for pulling their forces back.Wow. Reading all the posts here and the social media you'd think the Ukrainians were winning. Somehow I do not believe that is the reality of the situation nor the future

Putin can call victory anytime he chooses but he has already lost. We smoked thousands of terrorist over 20 years in the GWOT and won NOTHING! In fact I love listening to all these know it all generals on the news networks this week who are O Fer in the war arena.Wouldn’t that be a Russia victory

In case you haven't noticed the Ukrainians don't seem intent on surrenderingPutin is surrounding their largest cities and will lay siege to them until they reach an "amicable" agreement. Well that's yet to be determined. He IS guilty of war crimes. What is EU and the USA do about that? What does a long, drawn out insurgency look like and what toll does it take. Are nations still going to buy oil and NG from him?If that’s a big IF Putin installs a new Ukrainian Government. That’s what Putin wants! So that’s what Putin can not accomplish

It's not going to happen in the first few days. A siege takes time by its very nature. They will.In case you haven't noticed the Ukrainians don't seem intent on surrendering
ICC has officially opened an investigation of this as of this afternoon. The Hague awaits PutinWell that's yet to be determined. He IS guilty of war crimes. What is EU and the USA do about that? If energy gets high enough, don't you think for one second that the west won't spin the narrative to accommodate energy needs.Well that's yet to be determined. He IS guilty of war crimes. We shall see. Doesn't change that the Investigations has startedNo way
All under the umbrella of "national security".....If only we thought that way about our southern borderIf energy gets high enough, don't you think for one second that the west won't spin the narrative to accommodate energy needs.
Indeed, though honestly Russia has caused less civilian casualties than I expected so far (given their past history). That may yet change as the war drags on, though. It seems civilian casualties have increased in recent days, and as more fighting moves into the cities that will only increase more.US has “mostly” operated by the playbook with respect to convential warfare within bounds and international norms, I think we can agree at this stage Russia is left of center.
I dont know what a war "win" looks like. Been in 2 and both ended in a tie I guess? I did get a cool participation trophy! While Putin underestimated things, it's not like he's going to lose this "war." It's literally going to take a dumb act on a NATO ally to cause him to lose at this point.

Not to get political, but we just went through 6 years of investigations with no significant outcome. We shall see. Doesn't change that the Investigations has started
It sure is....My point about participation trophies was certainly tounge in cheek.War is violent, chaotic and sustained. Execution matters, not medals.
40 mile convoy sitting still in enemy territory is a great strategy.Russia has made a lot of ground on Ukraine in a very careful way. It’s almost like China/USA is telling them to go slow and make it appear like Ukraine is winning..but all in all the only one gaining land is Russia.
