So IPsec is a buffer used by the vendor for consumer protection? Or to prevent joe blow from sticking in a chip loaded malware back channeling to networks?

Who knows at this point, what we do know is Russia has the tools to inflict sensible impacts in cyberspace against the US. We are sending hardware to Ukraine, not confirmed yet by any stretch on the pumps and what they are for.

It really is bizarre. I guess they can get away with it because Ukraine’s Air Force is mostly nonexistent, but goodness gracious it reeks of incompetence.

Not really its just a big parking lot, those vehicles are effectively out of the fight for now....plus they are hitting it in places to make untangling the mess that much harder.....its not literally one continuous 40 mile convoy.

The Ukrainians are hitting the fuel/food trucks coming in to supply these convoys which were suppose to be the tip of the spear, but Russia ------ up and now they are basically stuck there until the Russians figure a way to effectively resupply them, they probably have very limited food/water/fuel

That's why they are abandoning so much equipment.....the Ukrainians are getting a lot of really primo high end Russia equipment really cheap ....hell at the rate they are capturing stuff they might be net gaining vehicles daily lol....

Kherson was a city of 300k and is now a war zone; think battlefield video game stuff. Keep it real VE.

It took Russian forces what, 3-4 days to capture, with a ---- ton of losses.

I would ask we start to lock down discloser of US Military forward elements shared here, but it’s in the public domain if folks want to deep dive. Understanding is 3rd ID, 82nd and 2nd MEB are in play. Fully mustered each supports 3 Brigade Combat Teams, combined arms, centered around 3 infantry battalions. Quick math is 27 heavily reinforced infantry battalions with world class logistics and comms.

Its a good display of force for NATO. I hope we are able to keep our noses clean. Im sure there is a good mix of combat vets in that group who are weary.....

Was hoping that this was wrong a few days back and that maybe the plane escaped major damage and welllllllll

Not what wanted to hear, but extremely informative. It is good to have some understanding of the enemy's strategies.
I echoe. Watched and that was very informative. Sounds like Russia planned on it taking 15 days to capture capital. Those plans that where confiscated and this guys understanding/study of Russia military tactics/history paints a whole different narrative.

Tell you what has to be tough , is the millions of refugees headed west. 99% all women, toeing kids and whatever 2 hands can lug. Days journey standing out in cold trying to hop trains. Not even having a clue where they headed or gonna stay. watched some live reporting of this on sky news. Humanitarian catastrophe unfolding

You watch Superjames video. That traffic jam , isnt really a traffic jam like its being made out to be.
The video is informative but if you sit back and watch again, is really just a long winded doctrine confirmation. Saying the Russian military is doing what it's doctrine says, isn't really analysis and doesn't tell us what is happening with the execution of said doctrine. I think any veteran here would tell you there is something seriously off with using open air communications and having your 2nd wave of infantry fighters and equipment, stuck like sitting ducks for days in a 40km long convoy. Sure, the convoy itself may be of Russian doctrine but not moving for days likely isn't.

That is where U.S. intel fills the void which is why Rubio's input is key. U.S. intel is the best in the world, bar none, they have been on this since day 1 going back over a year, knowing exactly how many troops Russia was building at the Ukrainian border in real time. EUCOM heightened their warning level even as the world could care less. So while the video is informative, it doesn't take into consideration what the U.S. is gathering on the ground and I'll trust U.S. intel over a Youtube channel (no offense to Task and Purpose, I love their videos).

The supply line issue is an interesting one in this war. I mean we have all witnessed the struggle in our own lives the past few years. Now you have a country shut off from the world, fighting a war and the enemy is targeting your resupply efforts. Convoys are turning into roadblocks and soldiers are hungry. One hacked broadcasted message to Russian troops could really change the dynamic atleast temporarily.
