...FRED MAKES LANDFALL IN THE EASTERN FLORIDA PANHANDLE...

National Weather Service WSR-88D radar data indicate that the
center of Tropical Storm Fred has made landfall near Cape San
Blas, Florida. Maximum sustained winds are estimated to be near
65 mph (100 km/h).

Wasn't sure where to post but 1.41 in that last trained stormed over Charlotte in the last 40 mins.

Yeah these bands coming up from the SC coast seem to be expanding as they are moving north and northwest. Wide circulation and it’s pulling a lot of moisture north

Ive never really looked into it but 1 is usually the default which is what that is

It feels like fred is moving at a snail's pace. My goodness. It was like what 100 miles off shore or less when I started work this morning and now it's barely onshore. Bye bye any tornado potential for day 1. Literally will be trash amounts of cape. Sunlight would help the cause but nope. Lackluster other than the 4 divets late this morning that was near the shore.

Might be just a graphic issue .. would consider it central NC but scrapping the mountains looks more likely

Port St Joe took it pretty hard too. We go there every year and it’s still in bad shape in some areas.
