My parents in Greenville are in some serious flash flooding right now. Radar is up to
6-7" from last night and the training storm right now. Still pouring.

Yeah the last 2 days have been epic in parts of the area. Wife just texted me that the ditches at the entrance to my neighborhood are flooding

Greenville, Winterville, Farmville, Bell Arthur, Black Jack, Dowdy
Ficklen Stadium, East Carolina University, Pitt Greenville
Airport, Grimesland and Simpson.
Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the

Few more. Looks like a significant amount of rain heading there way too.
About as deep as I've ever seen. One hurricane a few years ago one road was abt 6inches below the bottom of mailboxes. This isn't far from that.

Because drought doesn’t just go away from days of scattered storms, takes a while to buildup drought, takes a while to get rid of drought

Be more specific instead of just parodying....
Lots of time for dry to go to droughty droughty, takes long time, then boom lots of water fall on dry go wetty wetty, but still takes time to to get rid of it
