Speaking of bass, there finally biting again decently after post spawn, been catching a lot of long ear sunfish aswell at high rock lake NC, it’s weird that Im catching them, there not normally found east of the apps

You gotta jig them slowly when she's on the bed ... and don't tell anyone, but a 38/40 Winchester and an 8' ladder with the sun overhead do pretty well also ... but ... shhhh

The rich kept getting richer, MHX radar estimated up to 3-4”+ of rain near and along a line from Clinton to Mt Olive, Kinston, & Belhaven.
5 miles NW of the 4” jackpot zone was lucky to see a rogue raindrop.. we need “rain” rain

Spring was really wet. Summer looks like it will be dry. If we are in this back and forth pattern, that means Fall will be wet, and Winter will be dry.

Hrrr sucks for western NC, says trash mid level lapses, NAM says go crazy and get the hail machine cranking all over NC with fat cape profiles
