Misc Stock Market

Recent NG gains have been largely related to higher nearterm wx based US heating demand. Also, on a seasonal basis, NG often rises during March as attention starts to shift a little toward adding some risk premium to take into account anticipated high US summer A.C. demand, which would cause increased NG demand for electricity generation:

Morning NG update:

03/25 07:54a CST DJ Natural Gas Jumps on Cold Weather, LNG Plan -- Market Talk

0854 ET - Natural gas prices climb 2.8% at $5.554/mmBtu and are on track
to close at a nearly two-month-high. Prices have seen steady increases this
week as cold weather stretches well into early spring in some key regions,
keeping heating demand alive.
What's more, investors are also finding bullish
sentiment from the news that the US will increase shipments of LNG to Europe in
an effort to reduce the EU's dependency on Russian gas. Many analysts, however,
argue the move doesn't really change the fundamentals for the US domestic
market, since US LNG facilities have already been running at full-tilt. More US
LNG to Europe would only mean less US LNG to Asia, they say.

NG Closing update:

03/25 01:44p CST DJ Natural Gas Ends With a 15% Weekly Rise -- Market Talk

1443 ET - Natural gas prices surge 3.1% higher for the session to close
at $5.571/mmBtu, the highest closing price since Jan. 27. For the week, prices
finish an impressive 15% higher. "Bulls have bought every dip this week," say
analysts at NatGasWeather.com. "There have been colder trends to aid gains, but
reasons for buying are many, including production off recent highs, the
continued Russian invasion of Ukraine, strong LNG exports, deficits holding
between -250-300 Bcf after the next 3-weeks weather plays out, and with the
expectation a hotter than normal summer will occur over most of the US for
stronger than normal demand.

Got stopped out of PLTR/COIN today. Closed out AMD in my swing account at $118.8. Fairly ugly daily today on the Q's.

Might be a time to carry puts for early next week as a swing but I don't short. I am buying dips next week...hopefully we get some.

I Hope folks , common citizens no matter what your polotics are, start paying attn to this. No way under the sun do we want the Federal Govt having this kind of control over us. They are gonna try and ram this in on us and its crickets out there. Notice their sense of urgency.

Tesla wants to authorize more shares for stock split...Europe up big today, China up big....oil prices are down. Can't imagine the indexes not having a solid green candle today. Oh, and crypto is breaking out.

DAX built a nice flag past couple of weeks...nice breakout. I wish Q's and SPY's could build a flag for a couple of weeks...

$NCLH has a nice flag...I added shares at $20 in pre-market. It looks like it could make a push to mid $20's.

Tesla can dictate movement by the Nasdaq, but it doesn’t appear as if that’s going to happen today because of the news about Apple.

It may take a little while, but I would find the crypto moves to be interesting from a risk on standpoint unless they reverse.

GME up 7%, I see that train keeps on chugging along. But I continue to sit on the sidelines.

ES running into fairly significant resistance. Would be an interesting pivot to rollover at...would be a nasty head and shoulders on the weekly. I think we are going higher over the next few weeks, though we might get a short term pullback.
