Today will be the first NCSU/UNC game without dadgum Roy coaching in almost 20 years. He always had his boys ready for the wolfpack. Wondering how the rookie coach will do in his first rival game.
Actually I guess Wake counts as his first rival game, but it's not quite the same since playing them twice a year isn't guaranteed. Regardless, I hope this game goes better than that one..

Yea and I think that was genuine. Probably goes back to Roy being an assistant in the late 70's/80's during the Jimmy V years. (and before Coach K started winning)

Kind of don't hate either team. Stafford did his time getting his butt kicked and now gets a shot, Cincy has been getting their butt kicked for 3 decades. Should be a fun game. But Cincy does not have a good Oline so not sure how they handle the Rams front.
They've been getting outplayed every game. Somehow they keep finding a way to win.

It's also a home game for the Rams because the Super Bowl is in Los Angeles
Which is funny because that had never happened before until last year when it was played at Tampa and the Bucs won. Now it's happened two years in a row.

How is Coach Minter as a boss?
I dunno if related but…this name image likeness stuff. Many people thought it would favor big schools—the rich getting richer. Maybe it eventually will. But maybe instead it’s the opposite where the smaller schools can actually pull off big recruits if they are savvy enough to manuever through a new normal. Look at Florida St having their biggest recruit spur them for Deion for Jackson St a few months ago.
Add in the transfer portal stuff? College sports are like the wild west right now.
