Misc Sports Thread

Carolina ranking up to number 5 it looks like ? highest it’s been since 1997 which was last season that Mack Brown coached! I think there is a bit of fluff though, they haven’t had a super challenging team yet. Not as bad as Miami’s super high ranking though.

Carolina coming for Clemson . Also why are there so many tigers in the SEC? Auburn , LSU , Mizzou? Tigers in general are overused .

That's one of the most laughable rankings of all time. UNC struggled to beat BC and gave up 45 pts to VT. They don't belong in the top 20.

Wohhh there Danny boy , slow down .... first it was impossible to hit 80 in Atlanta after September now its UNC doesn’t belong in the top 20? Now I’m hesitant to have them in top 5 but there is no question this is a ranked team that is playing the best it has in years . Dynamic quarterback , great running game ... yeah there defense needs help but this is a great team . I’m ready for them to face Notre Dame

North Carolina is a joke and they play in a joke of a conference.

I dont think that’s fair at all for every season . Especially this season . UNC, Notre Dame ( sorta ACC lol?) , Miami, Pittsburgh , Virginia Tech are all teams that seem decent this season apart from Clemson . Now ACC basketball don’t even talk ! Not a one team conference .
 
Thank you Dan Quinn and Thomas Dimitroff for delivering the best Falcons teams in the history of the franchise. I'm sure they will only be remembered for the negatives, but the Falcons have never been better than they were under those two men.

They will be remembered for the most embarrassing loss in the history of sports.
 
This series is gonna be a fight, loving what the Braves did tonight, but remember our history vs Kershaw...it ain't great.

Of course if whatever we were dealing with is dead, then maybe we'll wreck Kershaw like others have.

Kershaw doesn’t exactly set the woods on fire in the post season.
 
Played 9 holes today in gusts of atleast 35MPH, forgot how hard it was to find a golf ball in leaf covered fairways and rough!
 
I loved seeing the Braves win that first game. Fried pitched great. I actually thought he was throwing too hard. Saw a couple of balls getting up to 98. He's more of a 93/94 guy. Worried he'll throw that arm out (we need him for maybe 4 to 5 more games --> win WS). Tonight Anderson pitches. Hopefully he gives us a good showing as well. Starting pitching has been great but it continues to be our weakest point, or maybe just our unknown strength.

He has been replaced with Camargo so his season is done unfortunately. Apparently if your roster spot is replaced you are ineligible to play the next series.

"The #Braves today added INF Johan Camargo to the club’s National League Championship Series roster, replacing OF Adam Duvall. Duvall suffered a strained left oblique muscle in last night’s game."
