If this young man dies of a football related injury and not some dumb luck medical incident, I don’t know if I can ever watch football again.
There’s doctors on twitter saying that the hit may have interrupted his heart rhythm. Commotio Cordis is the technical term. If I remember correctly, the same thing happened with Jerry Lawler is about a decade ago and they were able to get him back.

I doubt it. People are really emotional right now. He wasn't advocating for continuing to play, which is what people are beating him up for.
