Great win! Now if Bryce could just figure out how to play on the road like he does at home and the Panthers might be competitive.
 
If the Duke Football team beats UVA, Duke Football will be in the college football playoff. Right? Don't the conference champs get an automatic bid?

They have to be ranked high enough. “This new format includes the five highest-ranked conference champions.” With 5 losses, they easily could not make it.

If JMU wins the sunbelt. The sunbelt champ and American conf champ will be ranked higher than Duke. Acc will not have a team make the 12 team playoff. Uva wins, then uva will make it. Ranked higher than before mentioned conf champs. What a face slap to the ACC, Duke win will almost gurantee no ACC team makes the field of 12.
 
Monday Night Football … I like the Manning brothers, but c’mon, the constant on the left screen is annoying AF! IMO.
Just let the announcers call the freaking game.

We have to have some help with the other teams like BullCity said but it is very possible. Look at what we overcame this weekend. Anything is possible. Main focus UVA right now.

Don't forget Dandy Don Meredith and Frank Gifford. I like the Manning brothers analysis but I think like many things in the world today it is too much of a good thing.
 
they aren't even top 25, they would not be in. those championship wins only work if the team is actually good throughout the season, and they have 2, maybe 3 losses or so, imo
 
Looks like Billy Napier to JMU. Hmm, hope he doesn't mind the change of seasons. From Louisiana to Florida to Harrisonburg. Beautiful place. 2 inches of snow last night/this morning.

i get Duke lost 5 games .... but 100% "THEY" wouldnt move the goalpost if say Arkansas or Auburn or (insert Middling SEC team here) was 7-5 and won the SEC title. It would be used as "omg what amazing depth the SEC has" like enough is enough Power 4 conference champ winner idc who it is gets the bid that should be the rule idc if its 4-8 BC if they get to the title and win it.... well let them suit up and go get lambasted bc they did what they were supposed to do to get the bid. Now, REGARDLESS of results tomorrow MIA should be in even if it means ND is OUT.

With the Olympics coming up I thought I would share this link about a new show that is about Fencers.( I am 69 and about to go to a tournament today where I am sure if you added 4 of my opponents ages I could be still older!) It is a great sport and the are competitors from age 6 to 80s.USA has some really strong fencers and we have very good chance for several medals. Georgia will be the 2 seed with a win, while there have been a few flashes of the 21-23 team later in the year, they're not better than Ohio State and a line there IF a game actually happens is likely at least OSU -6.5.

That said, Georgia isn't winning today.

If the mental block wasn't a thing, OSU would actually be the only concern as you can beat a Kirby defense with a QB that can win in the pocket, and this dates back to his Alabama days.

We should all be Duke fans tonight. Make the CFP committee sweat.

Also cheer for BYU as well since that will make things worse for the committee.
 
ik its early..... but so help me god if Wade loses or its even within 20 to UNCA we have a problem....and a very big one. 10.2 MILLION dollars and all that talk all summer and we finally get national praise just to wet ourselves against anyone with a pulse. IMO It is the way were losing, EVERYONE has a career night vs us. Newsflash chief the game is not won in an Excel file where math told you x shot was efficient to leave open. Wade so far with his analytics spill is legit like me getting hyped over a 10:1 Snow output.... its not real man. Also, We have a bunch of Robins no Batman.... all these dudes were fantastic #2/#3 dudes at their last school but no one is a TRUE killer imo. It was supposed to be D-Will but he defers to Copeland way too much
