It's always going to be like this with restrictor plates on. The cars are never going to be able to break away from each other. I hate it to. It hasn't been racing in a long time at Daytona in Talladega and only getting worse with this pos car they call a race car that is put together from as kit. I hate what Nascar has become today. I'm glad I got to experience the glory years of yesterday.

Yeah but I think it's closer to 60/40 now. Ive heard there is some big $$ that is very unhappy about the results in football/bball this season. I wouldn't be shocked to see a major change somewhere in the athletic dept after bball season

Problem is with NIL and the settlement a lot of institutions will suddenly not be able to afford buyouts

Not only that, but for years I’ve heard this from State Burner accounts ect “Fire Dave” “Fire Keatts” … ok fine who you got on the line ready to come here ?

1. With Dave , Like it or Not 8-4 / 9-3 and Top 25 yearly is Good enough for us (Be realistic) To his defense he hit his prime the Same time Dabo did at Clemson or it would’ve been different. I’ve said 100x Had Doeren been in Coastal Div and not Atlantic with Clemson he’d have multiple 10 win seasons and Acc Champ “Appearances”. And like it or not, the man develops nobody’s. Especially O-Lineman …. Joe Thuney , Ickey, A few others I can’t remember Nobody’s in HS and he made them 1st/2nd round picks. Now, unfortunately he doesn’t fit this day n age of Constant turnover. Had he been a coach in 80s/90s when Running and Defense along with Player development was your key he’d have been extremely successful. He’s my guy though, I’m still a Dave Supporter. However he has a Golden Ticket in his lap with CJ Bailey (imo) there’s a few Scouts and film dudes on Twitter who are absolutely enamored by this kid and think he could be a top 10 pick in a year or two. If he can’t break through with a talent like that at the most important spot then idk but until then I’m gonna stick by him. We had a few cancers in the locker room last few years (MJ Morris and his loud mouth momma 2023) This year KC Concepcion, dude got paid and turned into a Whiny little B. Pouting on TV ect. I aay all that to say …. Fire that man and what coach will wanna come here ? This isn’t FSU where we’re a “Sleeping Giant” opportunity

2. Keatts …. Fire him then what? If I was a HC no chance I’d take that job. This man just won them their first title in 35yrs and made Final 4 and you can him 12 months later ? And even though it’s a lot of Fluff he’s won 20 games or more 5/8yrs and Is Dang Near 5-7 vs Duke (including March Run Last year). And was also Decent against Tony Bennet as well. He’s also respected nationally As a former Pitino Guy and I feel State would be looked on as un appreciative and unreasonable should they fire him. I say all this to say , no chance anyone coming to Raleigh if they fire him. The fans are unrealistic for both sports, or they think it’s 1987 still and we’re a powerhouse still. Sean Miller is only name I’ve heard even remotely possible. But imo Xavier is a better job for now. Now, Ik he’s a pos …. But Will Wade will be extremely successful in the NIL environment and I’d sell to Any candidate hey look, UNC still is better with more resources but never have they been more unstable you can come here without Traditional Triangle historical Pressures. But Will Wade is my choice, idc about morals can he recruit and win ?

- Marquette -2 @ Villanova (This is Bait to take Nova ML at +130 bc they’re 11-2 @home with a Win vs St Johns.) like looking at a sounding look deeper, it’s bait…. Marquette has lost 3/5 but those 3 L’s were UConn, St John’s , Creighton ALL top 35 NET teams and 2 were road games , it happens)

- Marquette has to win to stay in 2nd place in BigEast
- Nova Has lost 5 Straight to Marquette

This will pick will Fail if - Nova treats it as a NCAA Play in game (it is, it’s their last Q1 Chance before BigEast Tourney)

Marquette -2 …. Line SHOULD be around -5.5 (Value)

I do believe Marquette was a bad choice lol . That Closing line move that big at tip means someone way smarter with a larger wallet and better computer just laid solid coin on the Dog lol I shoulda got out

EDIT : Just looked , Nova is shooting 8/10 from 3 and 63% from the floor…. Tip the cap they’d be up on anyone shooting like that

Idk but I’m really hoping Sterling Martin or Bobby Allison wake up soon and take this one ! Man I miss the 90s …. I never grew up a NASCAR guy but my Pawpaw used to watch every Sunday he was a Jeff Gordon fan and his Brother was Dale Sr. I can still smell the cigs and see the Orange n Brown Shag 70s Carpet mixed with the smells of all the food after Church every Sunday with 20 family members there. They never even watched just would fall asleep after lap 10 and wake up with 10 to go . Good Times , the 90s was the best time to be a kid imo

Yea I mean…. If he finishes the year 20-11 (Win over Duke) and Makes Acc Title then yea I could see it. AS IS NOW….. the move was made bc they hired that Former NBA GM as their GM this week. I’d imagine a stipulation was they didn’t want Turnover or Turmoil before the guy starts working. Jmo it’s a Let’s try this with Hubert and then if it doesn’t work then yea we will move.

He's had a bad year, but he was also 1 game shy of winning 30 games last year.

I have no idea if the extension is a good idea or if Davis will eventually be successful, but I'm pretty certain he hasn't been given enough time to know for sure. Coaches have off years. The fanbase has---extremely high expectations. I would give him at least 2 more seasons before seriously considering canning him. At that point they can buy out that extension.
