Brutal...the Lakers fleeced the Mavs. I am a Lakers fan and I like AD but he is injury prone and Luke just led a rag tag group to the finals last year at age 24.

I’m not even being a UNC hater … but Hubert is simply not him. Brady Manneck was him in 2022 that’s why Hubert Looked like him as the kids would say. I feel like Roy MADE yall hire Hubert anyway , I never heard any UNC fans clamor for Hubert until Roy forced him on yall. Again Jmo

If I recall, Hubert wasn't the first choice, and there was some murmurs when hired. But year 1 put that to rest after getting to the championship game. (at least short term)

I hear what you're saying BTW, but Hubert was 1 game away from a 30 win season last year. One year up---next year down. Rinse and repeat.


If next year is similar to this one, it'll be different--especially with the upcoming recruiting class.

I wish ppl would lay off Keatts, The defense has gotten much better we literally cannot score .... like at all. And almost only counts in horseshoes and Hand Grenades but still we've had a double digit lead like 8/10 games in this losing streak. Lost Burns, Horne, Morsell, Diahrra so I give him a pass as he's trying to make chicken salad with chicken s**t but still. OcConnell isn't a guy that should've ever been asked to play 30 min a game, quite frankly neither should Jayden Taylor imo. Diahrra is most important piece that could've returned and didn't imo. Dude looks decent in French pro league which he's from there so I can't blame him for wanting to go back home

Construction absolutely, but hes got nothing but slashers on the team none of these guys can shoot ...period. Huntley-Hatfield I think may literally have a mental disability at this point and Mike James isnt a real person I dont think. Heres an idea why keep bringing in these roadkill losers in the Portal ? Like stop, just bc a dude can score 25ppg at SlipperRock A@T tech Community College doesnt mean hes good enough to play high major ball. And for the love of god stop recruiting 6"1 SG's that cant shoot

I just put the game on--don't think I've ever seen the stands so empty at State. And I'm old enough to remember the Les Robinson years...

No one cares anymore…. Apathy has set in. Call me a bad fan, I still keep up with score ect … but this team is terrible. No reason to waste 2hrs twice a week

NC State needs some Charles Shacklefords and Chris Washburns. When those guys played at State they instilled fear in opponents. Like, if you were at the free throw line they’d stare you down as if to say “you might wanna think about missing this shot unless you want us to break in your house, steal your belongings, and hurt you.”

Yes State had a great run in the 80’s with all those players and David was a beast in the early 70’sOnly man who could beat UCLA at that time

My dad had given me a framed pic from 1974 of him blocking Bill Walton’s shot which if I’m not mistaken was F4 in Greensboro and would then go on and Beat Marquette for the Title…. I’ve met Thompson a couple times super nice guy, he and Tommy Burleson. Wild thing about that game, it’s the one where Thompson jumped so high he hit The shoulders of Walton , landing on his head. My dad was 16 at the time says he thought he was dead. Then 2nd half he comes back into the game with a head wrap on

WTH is wrong with ppl man … can’t even take your kids to a celebration thing that could become a core memory anymore, without some idiot copping an attitude and being stupid. I’ve never once been angry enough to fight another man physically, much less shoot them. Life is important, but not that serious. I could literally die in the next 10 minutes idk no chance I’d wanna be remembered that way…. Who cares if someone “Disrespected you or W/E” who cares, shake it off and assume it’s an issue they have with their inner self.

NFL needs to do something like this NHL tournament instead of the pro bowl. Every 4 years do a 4 team tournament based on college conferences. Not that flag football --------. It’ll never happen but it would be fun to watch.
 
Idk what they'd do, but the NBA probably needs to do something about the dunk contest lmao.

Think Mac McClung has it locked up already, but they need to do something to incentive players outside of rookie types to participate in it.

Mclung only ever became famous bc that annoying Highlight reel YouTube channel. Pretty wild dude would’ve gone unheard of up there in Nowhere SW VA where he’s from. But yea, my brother just called to tell me Herro won 3-point (He lives in Ft Lauderdale) … and he told me who’s in Dunk and 3Pt Contest. I was like huh? Buddy Heild , Darius Garland ? That’s how bad the All Star weekend is now smh

NBA looks foolish. Tyler Herro winning the 3 point contest, which included Cam Johnson and Darius Garland, with Steph Curry in street clothes on the sideline.

Then, you have a dunk contest filled with rookies, where only one contestant can dunk lol

The 3 point contest was a bit better, but the dunk contest has effectively been nobodies for a while.
 
Wild thing about NBA is soooo many overpaid . Eddie Jones on NBA Radio made a good point “Stop paying these dudes bc “ they score 20 a game, we’ve got like 50 guys that do that now” in his day 20 was great ….25 a game was reserved for the elite of elite. He said how bout Pay a guy by how many wins he contributes to…. +/- ratings ect. You can avg 40 a game but if your team sucks abs you’re not efficient you’re not worth more than the guy avg like 18/5/5 if he’s efficient and contributes wins. Jimmy Butler is another reason nba sucks him and Khawi types ruined it. “Playoff Jimmy”
That would actually piss me off if I was a GM. You mean to tell me this guy can do this over 2 months in April / May but half asses it Dec - March. LOAD MANAGEMENT too omg , you get paid millions on millions get your rear end out there
