Maybe based on the seeding, but I don't know why St John's was ranked so high. They didn't play one team that was in the top 25 at the end of the season.Now we got a big upset:

Don't you love how TV considers 10pm on a weeknight as prime time. Duke tips off about 6.5 hours before my alarm for work fires up. Every March it never fails.

I love this sports thread being so quiet this time of year. It only means one thing.
It means the PGA Tour is in full swing!
After the 3rd round of the Houston Open, MW Lee is leading by four. Scottie is 5 back in a tie for 3rd.
The Masters is in two weeks. So, look for a cold spell that week, a tradition unlike any other!
Men's NIT championship is tonight. Chattanooga vs UC-Irvine.
If Chattanooga wins it would be the 1st time a Southern Conference team has ever taken home the NIT trophy, and only the 2nd basketball tournament championship ever for Chattanooga (the other being Division II in 1977). Go Mocs lol.

Top golfers Rory and Morikawa were E and Schauffele was +1. Koepka +2. Phil and Rahm +3. Projected cut line as of now in the +2 to +3 area:

Scheffler is my fav and in great position. Lefty and some others better have a good one today and/or Rose cool down a bit, or the separation gap will get to big to overcome over the weekend. Friday is always separation day/ divides the pack.

I’ve never been to Augusta National. The only courses I’ve been to that hold a PGA Tour event are Harbour Town on Hilton Head (been to a good number of Heritage Classics) and the course they used to use for the Atlanta Open along Columns Drive in Cobb County (adjacent to Chattahoochee River).
