Misc Sports Thread

We’ve seen enough in regards to Arthur Smith that he needs to go.

My dad looked at the schedule before the season and had said it’s such a cupcake schedule that they should go 10-7 and go to the postseason even with a not good team, and we were already well on track for this team to well undershoot that before yesterday.

Actually they are calling out the ACC on making a mockery of how they've handled the entire grant of rights, etc situation. Been building way before they were screwed over by the CFP committee.
 
People are talking about how good the Heels are. I’m not sold when it takes 25 plus points from one guy in order to win. RJ Davis can’t sustain playing over 34 minutes a game and scoring 25 points every night. Someone else has to step up for them to be legit contenders for a final 4.

Your exactly right. He can't do it buy himself all year. He will have some off nights and the other guys will have to step up to make them true contenders like Filipowski for Duke cannot do it buy himself. Have to have other players step up big time for either team to make a deep run in March this year.

I agree, although in Duke’s case you have Jeremy Roach who is a big scoring threat every game. Not saying he drops 20 plus every game, but he is a legitimate threat to. UNC doesn’t have another dude that is an assertive threat to drop 20 plus on the same night. Bacot was suppose to be that guy, but he struggles to finish in the paint and doesn’t possess any authority around the rim. After 4 seasons of college ball, he just is what he is.

Your spot on about Roach. If he didn't come back this year we would be in big trouble. Yes Bacot was supposed to be that guy but seems like he has regressed and not showed up when y'all needed him in the big games the most. You have to him to make a deep run. Rebounding should be a point no matter who your coach is. Every player should make that a personal approach.
 
I had no idea that Blake Corum was from Fauquier County Va. About 40 minutes from where i was born. Seems like a really good guy.

Penn State and Ole Miss tied at 3. Go Lions!!:D

I don't like any SEC team at all...Haha Plus lots of family and friends went to PSU.
