I knew the Panthers were gonna suck this year. My favorite part of football season is watching the Cowboys fans after they win a game or two only to have the same results for the past two plus decades!
Wash rinse repeat. Thanks Jerry Jones!!!

Looks like Houston may close out Minnesota too. Don't like anything about Texas.:p

If anyone wants two of our season tickets on Saturday for the State/Duke game, lemme know. I had a friend coming up for the game and they can’t. It is a late kick, 8PM as I recall.

CC: @griteater @Rain Cold @SD
I can't handle watching state losing to Duke on TV much less in person

If you like randomness and unexpected outcomes in the playoffs, then MLB is the sport for you.

In the National League:
In 2021, there was a 107 win team and a 106 win team - but the league champion was an 88 win team that also won the world series.
In 2022, there was a 111 win team, and two 101 win teams - but the league champion was an 87 win team.
In 2023, there was a 104 win team and a 100 win team - but the league champion will either have 90 wins or 84 wins (pending the NLCS outcome)

This year's NLCS and ALCS teams have a combined 354 wins (88.5 average wins per team), the fewest ever since the LCS was implemented in 1969. For comparison, the top four teams in MLB had a combined win total of 404 wins (101 average per team). Crazy stuff.

I love these stats but unfortunately for me they are irrelevant due to me being a Mets fan!! We don’t know what postseason looks like. Lol! Bring back Dwight Gooden and Darryl Strawberry

If you’d told me UNC would have 13 penalties going into the 4th I’d have bet my kidneys they’d be losing.

I thought we were goners ghost. I don't remember too often us coming back historically from that much of a deficit in the first half
I was at the Bama/UT game in 79 and Bama fell behind 17-0 in the 2nd quarter. Scored right before half and then came out in the 2nd half and outscored them 20-0 and ended up winning 27-17. Yesterday’s game reminded me of that

Yeah I remember that game well my self . At
Birmingham I was a junior hs. Was Rutledge the qb for bama ? We had Jimmy streater that season

The 84 win Arizona Diamondbacks are going to the World Series. 3rd consecutive year where the National League playoff team with the fewest wins represents.
