Drought loves drought. We had a pretty good one last fall. Then there's 2006-8 and 2010-11. I suppose we're due for another really bad one
Well this isn't really new to me. Me and a few others on here go 2 weeks plus without rain a couple times every summer! The difference is we are all getting to experience it this year

Driest June on record for me, got 6 days left to save face and it doesn't look promising. Hope the Warmnaustaghs enjoy this Death Ridge for the next 3 months.

The boys down east getting the storms today. Then we’ll deal with the Bermuda high and the mountains/foothills will get the storms.

I’m good! May was like 4” above normal here and June is about 2” above as of now. Pattern is locked in with a front every 2-4 days and this weekend looking luscious with highs in the 70s and lows in the mid 50s, maybe hit upper 40s in the country! Thank god the days are getting shorter!

This right here is why Summer is my least favorite season. It's the 20 year old mare in the Kentucky Derby behind the winner, Wintertime!
I stepped on a Sting Ray a few weeks ago at the beach. He got me all the way to the bone. Anybody ever done that? Don’t. 
Does anyone remember how the 2007 drought started. I expect our area to be in severe drought in just a few short weeks. It’s one thing to get this kicked off in july or august, but having this in June could be crazy.
