Also note the multiple supercells the HRRR is showing. Long day for bama?. Miles and miles separating these cells from one another so nothing to hinder it's progress....

Looks like two areas to watch near the AL/GA border.
I know there are some much bigger, rotating storms over SC/GA/AL but we just had quite a storm roll through Winston-Salem with a lot of lightning and thunder.

Not liking this cell. Going to pass right over me within the hour.
That southern storm west of Gastonia NC has really tried to punch a RFD out but inflow is weak

Gotta say, it is interesting to see the Hi-Res models are bullish with convection this evening around DFW.
5000 J/KG of CAPE and nearly 9 C/KM mid-level lapse rates are advertised around the same time on the 3km NAM, so it would be fun.
