Had some hail here in the Elm City area earlier today as the storms moved through, and my weather station recorded a peak gust of 32.4mph which for 5 feet of elevation is pretty good. Peak rain rate of 7.43"/hr as well.

I texted close friends who live in DeWitt when the tor was about 10 mil SW of them. They were taking shelter. Haven't heard back from them yet

This has been one hell of a night where I’m located. The atmosphere has been highly charged. Lots of lightning and thunder. Heavy rains as well as going under a tornado warning with sirens being activated at two separate times. Still raining currently and it still appears storms are still ongoing just to my south and southwest. Tornado Watch still active til 4AM.
