True, whether Republicans or Democrats do it. Our debt ceiling has come close to being breached because both parties put stuff in those bills knowing they will not pass anywhere else.

That's nice and congrats. I went from 2009 until 2017 without a job and it got rough. I have had 2 jobs since then and got laid off from both of them and have not worked now since August 2022. My mother's SS check is all we have and if anyone threatens to cut them, Republican or Democrat, it scares me. I know I sound like a troll, but some of it is fear driving me.

Everybody around here wants experience workers, and I cannot prove this of course, but my age probably hurts. The fact is there are plenty of jobs available to me except for my not every having drove a forklift. They want people with 1-2 years' experience with them and I have none.

Tulsi will never be President though, because many in both parties do not like her. Maybe it’s my industry but I get a minimum of 3-4 calls a week from headhunters. Even with things slowing down for a few months we have plenty of jobs in construction.
I really have no empathy for people who refuse to move to have a better life, and then decide to live in a pile of $hit and complain about it.

I 100%.....I was raised tough in a military heavy family so I am wired different but I don't understand how anyone can not have the life they want in this opportunistic country. I don't want people coming here illegally but I respect the work ethic of Hispanics immensely. If I could purge the criminals, keep the hardworking and send to Mexico those who refuse to try, I wouldn't even blink

No one can break out of their economic situation doing a 9 to 5 job these days though. It takes all the make to live on so they cannot save. For every Bill Gates there are 99 others who try to do what he did, and they do not make it.

This is just false so it shouldn’t be repeated. I know of a couple of “kids” 19-20 or so in my small circle who have found jobs making $25/hr starting off with the promise of more in a year or so. Study and pass the Grade 4 water operator exam and you can find a job making $26+/hr or so plus benefits. You can certainly do it as long as you stay away from buying a high end house and needing that brand new $50k Ford truck.
Biden has no idea what planet he’s on. He is less significant to the people who run the country than his own incompetent press secretary is to him. The cabal of corruption is ensuring their plans through the next four years by escalating every way they can. The people pulling these strings would put any of us in a labor camp to ensure their business interests are fulfilled.
