Housing nationwide is a nightmare currently and got way worse. Us being in two different parts of the world aiding wars isn't helping either. Throwing money at it won't help like Harris thinks it will, it'll just cause it to go up like covid stimulus made inflation extreme. The key is regulating the market which neither wants to do but at least there won't be more handouts that bite us harder later.
 
Trump increased the national debt more than any president in history… by a WIDE margin. You want someone to blame for inflation you might want to start with that. I’m sure I’ll get clown imojis and thumbs down with crickets again but the truth is very inconvenient and deafening in an echo chamber

In fact, Obama increased the National Debt more than Trump.

The above is part of the answer, but housing costs have risen drastically as have rent costs. I shouldn't be able to buy a house destroyed by a fire for the price my parents bought a house 18 years ago that's smaller, in a worse area, and is a teardown. Liberals tend to speak about more affordable housing options and with a large amount of power, they have not moved to stop investment companies from taking over metro areas such as Atlanta making them as bad as those who fund these companies. Harris will continue the same policies Biden did and this will lead to more foreign investors and non foreign investors taking land from Americans and renting them out for high costs like they already are. At least under Trump the foreign investors will be most likely to pull out due to his stance on foreign affairs in our nation.

A part of it is local but nationally we need to declare mass real estate investment companies to be a violation of our laws by creating artificial local monopolies to drive prices up.

Instead of our funds going out of the country or attention diverted to useless things, we need to focus on home, which seems to be all talk on the left.

I think you forget Trump was president for 4 years. I may be mistaken but Obama was president for 8. How much debt did Obama add in his first 4 years?? I’ll wait
 
If trump can do all the things that I’ve heard he is going to do, during my football weekend, why didn’t he do them from 2017-2021?? Just curious. Was it great those years I must have forgotten? And is the country that bad off? It wasn’t Friday when I was at work…
