Severe Possible severe weather February 4th-7th

Was not happy to wake up to a wind advisory! Stay safe everybody. People already dealing with trees blocking roads and stuff so this is not good! Trees are miraculous beauties but so dangerous. A tree fell on a double wide down the road a while back and friggin just sliced it right into. Luckily it was split floor plan and the peeps were in their rooms on each end. Holy cow. Horrifying.

Should have been issued yesterday tbh

Seeing some mPING wind reports, Triad Airport had a gust of 53 And a coworker that lives in Henderson just called to tell me they didn't have power so yeah the wind business is picking up this morning.
Feels like a nice fall day.

It keeps slacking down to 25-30 mph gusts then boom 40-50 again.

Had a 47mph gust on my kestrel that had no loud runup just bang and it was violent. Neighbors lost a couple shingles already. This is already as strong as we.got during Dorian. My little boy is loving it.

It's a shingles killer in my neighborhood. Winds noticeably stronger over the last 30 minutes. Worse than Dorian by a long shot. Easily had gusts mid 50s there. Got one on video where it tore up my neighbors vinyl trimming and shingles.

PGV reporting station has been down almost all morning. It's one observation at 10:30 was gusting to 54mph.

49 has been the highest gust here at my house on my AcuRite 5-in-1 at about 1030. 25 sustained with gusts frequently above 35.

Lots of shingles damage and some fuller spruce type trees down. Not really anything for the wind to grab on to. Had we had leaves out this would have been a worse situation.

All in all with exception to the severe threat which I had had doubts about here this was quite the overperformer today. Hate it for my neighbors who had the shingle damage.
