Severe Possible severe weather February 4th-7th

Just got back inside from a walk, there's already some strong wind gusts but during the periods where the wind is calm, despite the sun just being able to peak through right now, the air just feels unstable and humid today.

What the cells that are in south Georgia do will interest me as the day goes on.

That’s gonna be a wash for today with Verizon trying to work in this weather. Not a good day to chase in the lack of radar coverage. I was using Charlotte radar but only goes out so far.

tornado warning and the rotation is right over gastonia, no confirmation of tog though. looks to miss uptown to the north and rotation is weakening.
 
They are evacuating the control tower at Charlotte Mecklenburg airport.
 
I am really surprised that the SPC didn't at least put out an enhanced tornado risk.
