This sounds like really good news.

"The agreement is expected to create 80,000 new jobs tied to the auto industry and bring in up to $30 billion of new investment in the sector. The pact will also open new markets for American wheat, poultry and eggs, among other things.

The USMCA requires 75 percent of automobile components be manufactured in the United States, Canada or Mexico in order to avoid tariffs. By 2023, some 40 to 45 percent of automobile parts must be made by workers who earn at least $16 an hour.

Once fully implemented, the USMCA is expected to lift U.S. gross domestic product by as many as 1.2 percentage points and create up to 589,000 jobs, according to the International Trade Commission.

After the trade deal was approved by the Senate on Jan. 16, by a vote of 89 to 10, Sen. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, hailed it as a "major achievement for President Trump and a very big win for the American people."

The signing of the USMCA comes nearly two weeks after Trump inked an initial trade deal with China. Combined, the two agreements encompass more than $2 trillion worth of trade and could add as much as 1.7 percentage points to U.S. economic growth. The U.S. economy expanded at a 2.1 percent pace in the three months through September."

These are the types of things I like to see bipartisan support for, deals that benefit the American people like this one should.

This whole charade will end Friday/Saturday. There arent enough votes to call witnesses. Max you have is 3 Republicans to flip it to 50/50. Which isnt enough in itself. Then youve got to hope you dont have a democrat defector, which in itself has 3 potential defectors. Thanks Mr Alexander for sticking up for the constitution.

Where is Downeast to piss on this? Im sure it doesn't meet the code of the "middle road TRUE CONSERVATIVE"

Who needs a good laugh this afternoon???

Moe & Curley trying to argue with Dershowitz about Constitutional Law!!

I'm not at all a Behar and Goldberg fan (both partisan sides suck), but Dershowitz in effect argued with himself in saying an actual crime had to be committed vs what he said in 1999.

I just wonder how Cruz and Graham sleep at night after flipping to become complete Trump bootlickers. They have bowed to the morally bankrupt con man who stands as living proof that you can't polish a turd.

Hate to break this to you. Your not gonna impeach Trump, its that plain and simple. I know its been a pipe dream for the left the past 3 years. IF I where you guys ,Id start thinking of a way to defend the socialism you embrace and see if you can beat the candidate that stands for Capitalism and Good ole American Democracy. That really is your only chance, hope. The votters see through this charade and see the results Trump is producing. America is as strong as shes ever been.

lol this arrogance is outstanding. Take it from an independent voter, if sanders wins the nomination (he won't because the dnc is poop), it will most definitely be a tougher outing for trump. Maybe you should take a listen to himself saying how much tougher it woulda been had hillary nominated bernie and how many votes went his way because bernie wasn't nominated:

If they are anything like me they sleep on their side.....Im assuming since you question their moral compass, you are nothing short of divine

Get Trump out now and give enough time for Kasich, Haley, or someone else before it is too late? Or even Pence if he's not also going down?

So what am I preparing for the end of days? Do I have 4 years? 8 years? 12 years?

Or maybe just maybe Bolton does say exactly what the NYT article says he says.....and maybe Trump is just lying through his teeth about all this. Sometimes stuff is exactly as it appears.....

If the NYT article mischaracterized Bolton's manuscript then Bolton's team would say as much when asked.....they certainly wouldn't go so far as to make it clear that they were NOT denying the claims made by the NYT.....then again maybe your right and the NYT is lying about what Bolton's book says and Bolton is just not clarifying it to sell book copies....but I doubt it.
That's what we have been trying to tell you guys from the beginning. I strongly agree... it is exactly as it appears. This is a political farce to overturn an election that the Dems thought they should have won. It's plain and simple. They will use anyone and any means to try and accomplish their mission. Do you know why the manuscript is not public??? I'll tell you... If what it says is released to the public, then nobody will buy it and read it for themselves. No book sales.... no money.

"West Virginia,Mountain Mama, take me home ,ole country road."

West Virginia poll. 70% of registered voters from the state where coal has been resurrected, say Trump should not be impeached because he did nothing wrong. Wonder how that is playing in the mind of a Democratic Senator tonight? Trumps innocence being proven is a victory for our constitution and Massive defeat to the Socialist Movement.
Speaking of Trump, Kudos for getting that Nafta, "The worst trade deal in American history" officially abolished and replaced today. Unemployment is as low as its ever been in the history of our country. America is winning big. Im sure all of us on here are happy about that.

Where is Bolton??

He still want walk up to a Microphone. So I did my own research, thinking surely Bolton has said whatever this hersay manuscript claims he said somewhere since he got canned. So I dig and find an interview.

August 28,2019. Radio Free Europe interviews Jon Bolton, never once does he express that the president in any way what so ever pressured Solinzky (pardon my spelling). Wow not even a hint. Fact complete opposite of what is being reported by main stream media.

Simon and Schuester ,publisher of the Bolton book leaks this manuscript heresay to new york times, their bed fellow, weeks ago. The eve of Trump defense getting ready to defend Pres for the 1st time, we get anonymous source bombshell yada yada.
Bottom line. You can't impeach a president because you dont like him, agree with him, etc. Even if he was thinking of quick pro quo, he never did it or requested it lol. If I think about robbing a bank, but never leave my house act on it. Guess what, you cant convict me of a crime I robbed a bank.

Your kidding right? Trump roles over Sanders if he is the nominee.

I hope he is ? if you think the majority of the country is going to want to go socialist then you’re going to be wildly surprised when trump wins like 80% of the vote ... most moderates and independents know better then to put a socialist into power .. we all go broke in that case ?

I think you would be surprised how competitive Bernie would be in the swing States. If you get out of the snowless southern bubble things aren't as pro Trump as you think

Sanders would lose, the independents would go 3rd party or back to Trump....anyone running on as platform like Sanders or Warren wont win nationally....in fact they would fuel a bigger Republican turnout, Biden can and probably would beat Trump, but only a moderate Dem can swing the middle....

I was just saying it wouldn't be close to 80% I'm sure Trump wins against anyone

I was hoping Howard Schultz would have stuck around, if Biden picked him as a running mate I would consider that ticket then hope Biden had to retire early.....

Sorry but sleepy joe Biden would not beat trump. At a trump rally yesterday this is what happened..1580354199315.png

Rally size means nothing, Hillary beat Trump by 15 pts in New Jersey in 2016 lol.....and Trump has zero chance of winning NJ in 2020 regardless of how many people went to that rally.....

Biden currently holds a 4-5 pt lead over Trump nationally, and leads Trump in many of the crucial swing states...

My feeling has been for awhile that Trump wins against anyone if the economy remains strong. "It's the economy, stupid." applies here imo, especially since it has been so strong.

Michael Moore called the 2016 election and said Trump would win. He says Bernie for 2020. This article provides evidence. Kinda funny seeing these posts today, eerily similar to democrats being so sure of hillary in 2016. And seriously why is it so hard to imagine? I mean why would people want to make healthcare more affordable smh crazy how a lot of people agree on this issue seriously so unethical of them wow...

Biden?? C-mon man. He doesn’t even know where he is at half the time much less keeping his lips and hands off of women?‍♂️

Technically Trump has been impeached. He will be acquitted because his party will cover for him, but he was impeached the moment the articles were sent over to the Senate. Anyway, I am glad I have returned to NC to help vote out GOP fascists. I also like to burn Confederate flags for fun.

Approval on Trumps ecomomy is +15 to +20 nationally and will probably continue to rise. An old rich socialist white guy has no shot unless that falters.

I agree for the most part, however Trump really only won 2016 by less than 100k votes over 3 states, it was that close.....currently Biden is ahead of Trump in polling in NC, WI, PA, MI, OH, FL, heck Trump is only up 1.5 pts on Biden in TEXAS!!!! I guess its early and polling is obviously going to tighten up but Trump needs to win a lot of those states above to win again and right now he is behind in all of them.

The economy is about the only thing Trump has going for him, if the polls are to be believed it is not enough.

I expect polling will tighten up as we get closer, I don’t trust it tbh after hearing for months Hillary would easily win and then it gradually shifted closer to reality as the election drew near. I’ve read a bit about Hillary or Michelle running in 2020, I don’t think they will but I think Michelle Obama would have a good chance to win if she actually did run.

I fully expect Trump to rise in the polls over the coming months. If the economy falters, all bets are off, but I imagine the phrase "The enemy I know is better than the enemy I don't know" will take over. Trump may not be well liked, but with the economy steaming along, I think the fear of a changing President killing it will fuel Trumps reelection.

Michelle could win, she is very popular, bringing Hillary back is never gonna happen, she is single handily the worse candidate ever, the DNC want's and probably will get Biden....Bernie is playing spoiler again like he did in 2016 but he wont win it, he will win a few early primaries but on Super Tues he gets spanked and Biden pulls away from the pack...

I think the problem Biden may have is with the hard left base. If he wins the nomination, the democrats may get accused on riging it in the favor of a establishment candidate and stay home. Lots of interesting dynamics in this cycle.

A lot will have to do with how the trial plays out, if the GOP cant keep Bolton and others off the witness stand I think Trump loses for sure.....right now according to many polls 50% of the nation wants him removed from office...that is significant, the swing in independents favoring removal over the last few weeks has been big with over half of independents polled now supporting removal...So Trump would need people that currently support removing him from office to change their minds and actually vote to keep him over someone like Biden.....that's a tall order IMO.

You have the left base pegged all wrong.....the Dem turnout in 2020 will be huge regardless of the candidate as removing Trump is their goal....look at how badly the Dems crushed the GOP on turnout in 2018 and that tells you all you needs to know about how motivated the Dems are for 2020.

I predict Bernie technically wins nominee. Brokered convetion, Hillary gets super delegate voted in. Trumpmania verse Hillary and the Clinton foundation.
Senate will have bipaartisan vote end of week rejecting the house jv case charade.

If the number of people wanting Trump removed stays at 50-51%, Trump's reelection chances are high. He will not need to flip any of them as many of them are probably from democratic strongholds that have zero effect on national election.

You may be correct regarding turnout, but everyone saw the reaction to Biden suggesting a GOP vice president. That is a very fickle group.

Trump won 2016 with 46% of the vote he wont be able to do that again.....well its very unlikely anyways given how narrowly he won overall....he lost the popular vote and without those 100k or so votes across MI/WI/PA he would have lost.....Trump needs to gain support and I feel like that is unlikely.
