There's a lot of discussion on why it took 4 days to arrest this officer. If anybody else had been caught on tape (like this) they would have been arrested immediately. This is situation is pretty clear cut. (but)On the other hand, there are some situations where law enforcement does need a little buffer. That would include claims of "heavy handedness". People need to be able to make claims and they need to be taken seriously (maybe your civilian oversight..); but the police can't be immediately arrested with a claim. I could see a situation where every (real) criminal claims he'd been abused.

So even more reason to have appropriate surveillance and monitoring of police, but there should be no buffer. Suspicion of a crime is enough to arrest a citizen and should be more than enough to arrest a police officer.

These are dangerous ruthless monsters looting buildings catching them on fire. And Endangering the innocent civilians that are doing nothing wrong but trying to live normal lives. If this don’t stop sending the military in to open fire is absolutely the correct answer to potentially protect the innocent children and other civilians that are doing nothing wrong just trying to live there lives.

Can you not read? I care about the innocent children and other innocent citizens regardless of color or gender. They should be able to live safely and not feel in danger. If that means taking out monsters and thugs to protect the good people the innocent then so be it

Not open fire on the innocent. Open fire on the ruthless monsters! If I owned a business and people came to loot it and catch it on fire I’ll be pointing a gun at them. I would have no intention of killing anyone but I would protect my business if I had one. If someone broke into your home wouldn’t you protect your home and your family if you had a gun?
