This is the new flu. We all will be exposed as I have said. Hopefully herd immunity builds. People that want to live in caves forever do it. This virus will still be here when you come out.

I don’t think Tennessee will ever lock down completely. Maybe certain hotspots but I just don’t see any more lockdowns for most states because of the damage that’s already been done to the economy.

Not sure why doctors are worried. The doctors just need to tell them the cure is knowing they saved lives. That suffering is a good thing. That if you don’t feel that way then you don’t care about lives and are mentally insane. Oh and don’t forget to wear your mask.
On another note. Obviously as we have all seen. Social distancing has not been adhere to this weekend. Even my family get together did not Social distance either. So I expect cases to go up. Now let’s see if hospitals get overwhelmed and deaths explode. If they do I own I was wrong and Trump is more than likely done. If opposite then obviously this virus was over hyped and I would expect a red tidal wave in November. Positive news is seems a 2nd wave theory is dying. Let’s hope that continues.

Wait I thought the shut downs were not to overwhelm the hospitals? So we made it past that. Then it was to make sure we were prepared. We made it past that. Then it was so we did not have people dying in streets. That never happened. Now we are to stay in homes till a vaccine or cure? Good ole Panic porn by CNN. Which side turns out right. One side is going to be obliterated from the other side.

Spot on. First lock downs. Now it’s mask. As my high risk brother in law said yesterday. “You have more of a chance dying in a car wreck going to get tested than dying from this virus”. So many are baaaaaaa.

Its temporary and people need to stop telling themselves it's permanent. You're controlled by the irrational fear socialism is taking over the country and the only way to beat it is to resist trying to protect vulnerable people and effectively battle through this virus. We will get through this and whatever you couldn't do you will be able to do once more when we are past this hopefully later this year.

It’s funny actually states that are loosening restriction. Are actually having less cases so no need to continue any lockdowns. I’m tired of hearing it’s based on science. Science is a joke

I don't think it is irrational at all to say socialism will take a major step forward especially on the financial side. When mortgages start to default people will want to be bailed out, when utilities start cutting late payers off people will want a bail out, when recent college grads can't find a job, they will want a bail out. This will change the thought process even more to when something fails the government will be looked at to save the day.
 
I’m having to get a scan of my heart for precaution because heart disease runs in my family. Interesting here in waiting room. It’s packed and no way can social distance and half no mask which does not bother me. Everyone is tryin to respect. I’m just thinking how many come and go here. How could they ever disinfect after someone gets up outta chair or lean on counter to sign in. They would have to hire just someone to do that. Interesting times we live in.

One thing I know is the man is handcuffed and obviously having a medical episode. Why does a cop have to keep knee on his neck whole time. The man was not a threat. This man died on way to hospital. This cop should be charged with man slaughter and his backup with assisted man slaughter. Totally wrong and inexcusable what these 2 cops did and was allowed.

Well it' s not "fascist" to shop around and get the best venue for your gathering. If NC can't promise the goods, find somewhere that will. That's the heart of free market. And it doesn't matter who it is that's shopping for the venue. Of course, you could also see it from a different perspective - Cooper is interfering with an election by restricting the venue. Who's the fascist now?

As I have been to one of these conventions in the past, I just dont see how they could pick a new spot. It takes a year for planning. I guess we'll see.
