Winter storm warning now out for me. Looks like about 4-6 inches right now.View attachment 131057
Meanwhile the 18z NAM has other ideas. Gonna be interesting to see what models show this evening.Good luck but all I can say otherwise is I hope the HRRR is wrong View attachment 131060

It’s been a relatively sucky winter for snow here! I planning on doubling my season total in the next 10-14 days! Epic chair pics coming and temps in single digits for highs! As if this isn't enough to talk about... Arctic air next week! Maybe another chance of wintry precip late Saturday or early Sunday?

Many will be living through you guys vicariously today, nothing like radar/temp watching and seeing that first snow of a good snow storm fall! I'm jealous but enjoy!Heavy returns coming in from southwest OK. Already had a brief downpour a few minutes ago that dropped us a degree. Sitting at 37.5/28.5 right now Looks like the magic number for a change over to snow will be around 34. Things will hopefully be rocking in a few hours.View attachment 131128
Already changing over in parts of OKC. Seems like the whole system is about 2 hours ahead of schedule right now.
Sucks that temps are so warm. I imagine that will cut down on accumulations some.Rain/snow mix now. I’d say about 60% snow 40% rain. Temperature down to 35.
Edit: All snow now. 34.3
Hrrr has not done well with this system at all. Had me at 40 around this time during its runs last night. Even most other models were around 34 during the snowfall. Norman Mesonet station just dropped down to 32.9 and has been steadily falling.Everything west of here looks to be ahead of schedule so far. I think I'm just gonna stop looking at models they clearly are off
