If most of the western reservoirs don't fill up with the spring melt, they have no hope. Here's the 12 GFS. I found some (point/click) spots in the Serria Nevada with nearly 17 foot falling during the next couple of weeks. That will be on top of the mass amount of snow they've already received this winter. You can also see areas over Nevada and Utah that feed the Colorado pilling up as well.

I guess this is better? TWC changed their forecast in the span of an hour or so!1735AA3F-CC17-42BB-9A3A-E0E19718302D.png3B3D23E1-B398-4343-84E3-56D291C330A1.png

Just issued, one county away! I believe there will be ice storm warnings nearby, by Thursday AM10CAFDC1-5ADA-4D37-86D1-93CD8EE0EEA3.png

If I remember correctly, you need around -6C 850s to get snow in San Francisco. It's going to be close there. There's snow in the forecast grids for Napa, Sacramento and the Berkeley area above 700 feet.

Actually looks like the 12z GFS has -tssn in the extracted data for Napa. Boy wouldnt that be wild.
